In two days I have an interview. From the looks of it, I'm still going to have this cold, which has obviously made me look sicker than a dog. Should, or shouldn't I give a handshake to the interviewer?

I have an online friend who's abused by his dad. I know he's being serious, I know he is who he says he is (we have done webcam) I've been talking to him for a year. ( please dont say that he's lying, I know he isn't) He's 17 and lives in Texas, but he's asked me never to tell anyone or try and help. His dad tortures him and really hurts him, he's broke his arm and messed up his one eye for life. I'm so worried about him. Every night we talk, he's crying because his dad did something. I want him to be safe, but I promised him I wouldn't get involved. I live on Colorado, is there anything I could do? I know his full name and the city he lives in, but I'm worried that if I do anything he'll hate me. He said that his dad told him if anyone ever found out he'd deny everything and hurt him more then ever! What should I do?!?!

I've liked this guy for a long time, and I really don't think it's going to go anywhere unless I make the first move. Is it weird for me to ask him out...I've always been told "it's the guys job"...but that seems kind of stereotypical. So if I ask him out, how would I do it without like freaking him out? Please help!

My daughter is 13 years old. Her dad lives in New Mexico. She is supposed to go to her dad's over Christmas Break. She is trying out for Volleyball and was worried if she made it she would miss practice over the break. I talked to my ex-husband about this, he said he understood and he decided that she wouldn't come out over xmas and we agreed to work some extra time in over spring break. He even told my daughter this. She was relieved, she didn't want to leave home on Christmas. A couple of weeks ago, when he was half drunk and feeling sorry for himself, he called up and changed his mind. My daughter is very upset. I'm half tempted not to send her, and she is refusing to go. Any thoughts on how to handle this?

Some Scientific Research seems to indicate that it does, but it's not about *that* size - it's about Height!

Is height a factor for you in selecting a partner, Does Size Matter?

Article follows:

British scientists have come up with an explanation for why most men are taller than women.

They say taller men are more sexually attractive and are more likely to father children.

Men, though, prefer shorter women, so the two sexes are unlikely ever to end up the same height over the course of evolution.

In choosing a husband, size matters

Daniel Nettle, Open University
"It seems that tall men and petite women are favoured in evolutionary terms, even in a modern population, so the height difference between men and women is unlikely to disappear," says Daniel Nettle of the Open University.

The verdict that size matters is based on a study of 10,000 people born in the UK in a single week in March 1958.
