I've liked this guy for a long time, and I really don't think it's going to go anywhere unless I make the first move. Is it weird for me to ask him out...I've always been told "it's the guys job"...but that seems kind of stereotypical. So if I ask him out, how would I do it without like freaking him out? Please help!

I never understand these questions, how can you freak him out. When people say that what do they really mean, if a girl asked me out (in most cases it is the boys job, but only because girls believe that) then I wouldn't be freaked out cuase I like girls. It just sounds odd, why would someone interested in girls be freaked out if they were asked out by one.

Just be real with him, problem with most people these days is they beat around the bush and play to many games. The best way is to be real and straight foward, only thing he can do is say no and that shouldn't affect your everday life at all.

Keep it low-key, & don't make a big deal out of it.
Can you suggest having coffee together, or lunch?
Then mention something you want to do, but not alone;-}
such as a movie you want to see, or a concert, or game.
You can say you have 2 tickets, but girl-friend uninterested.
