It's wonderful, as long as it's in water and not in oil. 2 cans a day (in water) is fine. But don't forget the other stuff like fruits and veggies (frozen, steamed, or raw.) And drink lots of water.
You should be taking a multi-vitamin everyday. Generic Centrum is a good one available at any drug store or supermarket. :)

Small fish contain low ppm of mercury however tuna and different large fish include much higher ppm of mercury. It's more commonly advocated that you must on no account devour tuna more than twice per week to make certain that you aren't getting mercury poisoning.

I've eaten at least one can of tuna daily for the past 20 years. when I was in the military I would eat 2-3 daily. all the hype about mercury poisoning is just that. it's funny how the televised media picks and choses the "news" that they report. you never see them do a special on soda which is nothing but liquid death but they will trash tuna. nobody really advertises for tuna anymore so there is no money to be made, tons of money to be made from Coke and Pepsi commercials.
if it comes down to eating tuna with mercury or consuming poisons made by Nabisco, General Mills and others. I'll take the mercury poising thank you, at least I'll look good in my coffin.

Heavy metals could become a concern like mercury and lead. Also, if you are dead set on eating tuna, eat tuna that comes in Water and not oil.

hi there, don't worry about a thing, i work with a girl who has eaten a can of tuna for lunch every single day for the past 5 years!!! hehehe we give her a hard time for it, it's kinda wierd to eat the same thing every day for so long, but she loves it so why not? as long as you like it, go ahead and eat it and don't think twice about it. it is healthy for you. the only thing they say to worry about it mercury and heck if the girl i work with is still going strong, you've got nothing to worry about. enjoy it! they say everything in moderation but this is one thing, that you can go overboard on! there are much worse things, that you could be eating everyday. go for it! : )
