I knew a lady down the street from us that her husband...everyone knew he was beating the crap out of her and the church said. basically.."You have to stay...blah, blah, blah"...and she eventually died from a blow to her head...and he was NOT prosecuted because he just said she died from a fall...what a jerk of a man!! the whole neighborhood was shocked that he was not prosecuted...because we could see the bruises on her..but the church would NOT let her leave.!!!!

tonight? Will it be after the football game? Last time there was a Monday night game I thought they postponed the show until Tuesday morning (9:00 a.m.) but then I heard it aired earlier Tuesday morning around 12:00 or 1:00 am. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

So, my husband and I got married in August, and we're trying to figure out how to file taxes this year. I have lived and worked in Minnesota all year, and will be here until April next year. He's in the military, stationed in CA, but in Iraq from Sept '07-April '08. Should we file jointly for federal taxes and separately for state taxes? Or is there some way to file jointly for both?

Also, he has already invested 4k in his Roth IRA this year, and I am thinking about starting mine as well. Can we each contribute the 4k if we file jointly for federal but separate for state?
Any help is much appreciated!

hello all i have had my kids make a christmas list and my son at the age of 12 still wants toys for christmas he wants some stuff for his ipod too but he wants wrestling figures and such. do I have to tell him to grow up or is this normal at this age? he was 12 this year so its not like hes nearly 13. but now and then he does things that are quite mature but then he wants to play with toys that i buy my 9 year old and twin 6 year olds (all boys!) I still have to do his hair in the morning and remind him when to shower and take a bath. he isnt the most modest child either. but i dont know why he still prefers wrestling figures and action men. he's also very small for his age so i guessed its because hes not going through puberty but he does have hair under his arms as he thought would be funny to show me. he goes out with his friends to play football alot but he plays silly games alot too so does he need to grow up or is this normal for 12 to play imagainary games? when is it not normal

When I went to get Sargent from his kennel yesterday he had a brick in his mouth. One side looked brand new (its from a fire pit we're in the process of building), but the other side was worn down quite a bit. There arent any actual pieces missing, its just worn and pitted. That and the pieces in the corner make me think he didnt eat any.

Is this normal?
Im figuring he needs stronger chew toys. Right now he has a black Kong for his main chew toy. What is tougher than that?

My Chevy Cobalt 06 LT, (not LS like I thought) is supposed to play burned MP3 cds but everytime I try to burn a cd and play them, they don't work! Is there a specific cd or program I need to burn them correctly? Doesn't exactly describe it in the manual much, just that it DOES play MP3s. Oh and I don't mean just 12 songs, I mean the data method and you can have like 100 songs on 1 cd type deal with the song name scrolling and all that, just to clarify, thats what I think of when it says MP3s not just normal burned cds. Also this option is standard from what I've been seeing, looks like the original stock cd player, and no input jack so I have to use a CD or some gizmo to transfer from a device to radio station but I hate when it cuts in and out. Hope thats enough to clarify, thanks for the answers from my other question but I couldn't update that one.
