I love you seems so generic, and I'm sure you thought of that one.. how about something like "Together Forever" or "You Are My Sunshine" or an original short poem you can write, they're pretty simple, just write what you feel. She will love it no matter what, because it's an original gift and you thought of her. Good luck!

You can have your names on there with the date you started going out and then an I love you.

A good idea would be if you have a "song" together get some lyrics on it. like the chorus or a quote from your favorite movie together.

Well you could just get her initials on it.
Or say any of these:

You & Me = love or You & Me = (put a heart after the = sign)
