Do you mean simplify?

2w^6 ... 4
------- - -----
....5 .... w

You need a common denominator of 5w, so multiply the first fraction by w on top and bottom. Multiply the second fraction by 5 on top and bottom:

2w^7 ... 20
------- - -----
...5w ... 5w

Now you can subtract the fractions:

2w^7 - 20
--------------
.... 5w

If they want you to, factor out a common 2 in the numerator:
2(w^7 - 10)
---------------
.... 5w

That's as far as you can go in simplifying this expression.
