Some people have deceived themselves into believing that in the 'West' (meaning the EU and North America) there's absolutely no violence against women and children, that there is no burglary, no theft, no embezzlement, no exploitation, no poverty. They seem to think that the 'West' is some kind of Camelot where the sun shines 365 days a year, it never rains till sundown and millions of people live in peace ad harmony.
When reminded of the Baby Graces, the Madeleine's and the 13 year old rape victims being forced to carry the baby to full term, they will say these are isolated cases and that not 'All' Americans, or British, or Australians or whatever are like that. Yet if one person commits a crime in another part of the world that's not on their 'approved' list like the Arab countries then everyone in that country is tarred with the same brush. That is called racism but so many fail to see the racism in their own hearts.
If so called human rights and simple human decency were the criteria for EU membership, it's doubtful any of the current members would qualify. Every country has its good and bad and one cannot condemn a whole group for the sins of a few.

Can you really say what's going on in the clip has anything to do with religion? People here in UK get beaten up daily for other reasons.

Oh my,in all my long years trying to be unbiased and open, the middle east has always been volatile with many cruelties. When i mentioned before about the three children that were held in mangles by there legs and arms, this was supposed to be punishment, people tried then to turn a blind eye,but if you can your lucky.Still have bad dreams about that.

If you believe that violence against women is purely the preserve of Islamic states then you are sadly mistaken. You cannot take a scene of street violence and condemn an entire state. There would be no members of the E.U. if that were the case.
