I have a metal and rubber wine cork and today I discovered white crystals forming on the metal piece that sticks into the bottle. What are the white crystals and more importantly, is there a way to get rid of them?

I'm no Martha Stewart, but I wanna nice Christmas tree, and I can't afford to put any money into it.

I like the ones in the store, but they are like $20 for a box, or $1 or $2 apiece, and that is just not happening for me this year.

The tree is 7ft tall, and it currently has 2 dozen glitter stars, 18 gold balls, 3 streams of gold garland, and gold and red beads and lights of course.

Ive made some homemade ornaments with gold glitter out of old christmas cards, a John Lennon pic, and some family pics. But I'm tired of glitter picture frame ornament, what else can I do.

I have gold glitter, glue, & red ribbon, and am willing to buy more supplies if necessary.

3 weeks ago I was driving down I-15 with my husband just having a regular conversation. We just got back from a movie. I was smoking a cigarette and I ashed out the window like how many of us do? Anyway all of a sudden we are getting pulled over. Well when I ashed my cherry flew off and It was dark so the cop apparently saw this. I explained to him that when I ashed it flew off and I didn't mean for me to loose the cherry. He said regardless ashing out the window is still illegal in the state of california. So....I recieved the bill in the mail today! Guess how much 571.00!! Isn't that a lil ridiculous? So should I go to court and expain this again do you think I have a chance of at least reducing the fine? I am from Minnesota and I had no idea california had such a law that you can't even ash outside. I am in the middle of the mojave dessert there isn't anything that is going to burn anyway! lol

My daughter is 2 1/2 and it seems like she is sleeping too much. She sleeps around 11-12 hours at night and takes a 3-4 hour nap during the day. She is eating and growing normally. But, lately she's also been a bit grumpy.

I am by no means complaining, but I am a bit of worrier. My husband thinks she's just growing. Is this too much sleep?

I have an appointment this week to go to the dr but heres whats been happening...

I have chest pains into my stomach on and off, esp in my leftside

Last year during my regular physical my doctor showed concern over a strong pulse in my stomach and sent me for an ultrasound to check for an aortic aneurysm. They told me it was a bit larger than it should be but to get it checked occasionally.

Do these symptoms match up with something having to do with this?? I dont really wanna bring it up if theyre gonna just run a bunch of tests if it doesnt seem relative because I dont have insurance. what do u think??
like yesterday it kinda hurt and i was laughing at something really funny and then the pain got really intense

I go to a high school where there is much academic competition. I made a really bad mistake a few years ago to take algebra again, and now I am no longer advanced in math. I am so ashamed of it because I know people would think of me as less intelligent if they knew. I hide my math book from everyone so they can go on assuming I'm in calculus or something. How can I let go of this overwhelming shame? I feel like such an idiot.

I know him through a class we took together. We don't talk to each other that much. we help each other with homework and such. He asked for my number one day and called me that night and leave a voicemail saying that he though he should call since i gave him my number. next day, he called again and asked how was my day. I mean giving some people permits to immigrate for say construction or farming with the understanding that their time would be limited. Although they could extend it if they were still working on a project..for example mine construction or civil/infrastructure.

And they or their employer would have to post a performance bond for their behaviour in country and agreing to leave when their time is over.

I don't say this is the total solution to problems of illegal immigration. I suggest that it is a way to get honest people who are willling to work and who want to do the right thing.

I currently have 2 12 inch kicker cvr's and a 600 watt amp, it hits hard but i want more, would it be worth it to buy another 600 watt soundstream amp the subs can handle 800 watts each so would powering each one with a 600 watt amp make my system significantly louder?
