Well, I'm a fan of mechanisms so:
1) Cell
and then the big one's that don't really care so much about this:
2) Nature
3) Science
and then the smaller subject/field restricted journals:
4) Developmental Cell
5) Nature Genetics
6) Immunity
7) Nature Immunology
8) Cell Stem Cell (This ones only 3/4 months old but very good publication record)
9) Development
10) PNAS (i hate colloquiums, they are not peer-reviewed!!)
11) Developmental Biology
12) Blood
As you can see, I do basic research (developmental genetics).

I like JAMA, journals for PA-C's and some nursing journals. You can really learn a lot form them and they are really interesting. The bad part about the Journal of the American Medical Association is that it's like $200 a year to get it. But it does have some really good information in it. =)

Proceedings of the Royal Society of London. Series B, Containing Papers of a Biological Character.
Because it has a cool and long name. It's also a good journal that focuses on truly classical biology and natural history.

This question really concerns what your interest is. If you're interested in the biomolecular side of biology you may easily be interested in academic journals such as "Cell". Since my interest resides in Ecology, I like journals such as "Ecology", "American Naturalist", or "Trends in Ecology and Evolution". I usually read more specific journals that relate to my field, such as "The Journal of Arachnology" and "Carnivorous Plant Newsletter". It all depends on what you're interested in!

The best ones I know of are:
a) Nature and
b) Cell.
Check them out.
There are many others by Elsevier, Cambridge and Oxford Press which are also good. Depends on what material you want.
Good Luck!
