do you really belive obama will bring change or do people like him because he sounds like a good option after the scandals in this admin?? remember what happened when Carter got into office.

Here's the problem with Obama's talk of "change." He isn't telling us anything of substance that he intends to change. If he doesn't stop generalizing and relying on giving speeches that get the blood moving, but then afterward leaves you scratching your head wondering exactly what it was he promised he was going to do, he's going to be in trouble.

I think he might try to change things if he ever gets elected, but the political establishment in DC would fight him all the way. I would rather see him as the the Democratic nominee than Hillary Clinton. I disagree with Obama on many things, because I am a conservative, but I do have a lot of respect for him. By the way, I like the screen name, I'm a conservative independent.

I'm hoping he would bring change, because we certainly need it after the damage caused by Hurricane W. Bush.

I think there will be no change with him, he is going to switch to status quo as soon as it is politically feasible. I think he is just saying what people wish to hear. But time will tell.

Of course he will bring change. Any democrat will. And mind you, that is NOT a good thing. Not a good thing at all.
