I currently have 2 12 inch kicker cvr's and a 600 watt amp, it hits hard but i want more, would it be worth it to buy another 600 watt soundstream amp the subs can handle 800 watts each so would powering each one with a 600 watt amp make my system significantly louder?

if you remove one sub from that amp you will change the ohm load on that amp and might only get half the power so be sure to re-wire the subs for the lower ohm load to get the full benefit out of the amp

It takes double the power just to get a 3 dB gain in volume. This is why competition gets so expensive.
