I've worked in a cafe with most of my co-workers for around 7 weeks now, and the silence is turning really awkward

I've been told that if you are not saved,if you do not follow the word of god then you will be sent to hell.So my question is was man created with his spot in hell reserved already.It seems that once we are born,we are destined for hell,unless you give yourself to god or however you say it.So basically its saying that if you don't accept the word of god then he won't pull you away from your hell filled destiny.And what does this saved thing mean.To me being saved means you get saved from something that will destroy you.So if you are saved does that mean that you are saved from being human.I guess that man is not born saved we are born damned,and need to be saved to avoid the fate that is set aside for mankind.Any thoughts cause i don't understand how this works

There are so many governmental and non-governmental organizations who are claimed as a peace maker. They have been trying to help on humanitarian issues and others.

In the name of political problems and natural disaster many organizations and governments help financially and materially. We acknowledged that I hope. However still it is far from the goal they have made.

All the religious organizations are not sincerely share their peace making efforts to each other. May be I am wrong but it is my observation.

Most of us know we are having many serious problems on humanitarian and environmental issues, many people would like to contribute something for the sake of our universe but some of them never know how to involve.

So, what should we do?

I was in a car accident on Wednesday, and I came home briefly on Thursday, and now I am home, but "Mommy" is gone (just not in the house), what can I do to stop my kitten from crying? Only 50 years seperates the Wright brothers from intercontinental passenger jet travel.

In the 50 years since Sputnik and the dawn of the space age space travel is still only for the chosen few millionaires and astonauts under the guise of "doing good science".

In the book, the authors contention is that NASA has let the public down in an effort to justify it's own continued existance.

Such are the people of the truth and they are Al­Muttaqûn (pious).

How do adventurers make the money they need to go adventuring? I mean, you can hardly hold down a job if you're always around the world going from one place to another all the time never stopping... I dont wanna limit myself but somehow i can only imagine myself being attracted to a certain category of guys. i hope it's not a fetish. some people might think it's different or weird or whatever.
i like dark skinned guys. i m hispanic. (oh and by the way i m also confused. i do like dark guys yet somehow i dont wanna be with a hispanic guy) i like black guys, native american guys, and arab guys. it's really unique.
the question is: why m i attracted to them?

I have never understand the bible construct that we take no credit for ourselves when we do well and blame satan when we do bad.
I view mankind as potential and that all of us have the potential to be hereos and achieve greatness without the dogma of organized religion. In other words sin is believed by those who are tender minded and perhaps have a difficult time dealing with reality.

I went to the post office in WA and I filled out a change of address form for an individual, me, and checked Nov. 15th as the date I wanted all my mail to start getting sent to my new address in California. When I get here, I get a slip in the mail informing me of the change of address, yet it says I still need to "confirm" it. Only it doesn't provide any number or suggestion for how I'm supposed to do that.

Um...what?
