I have never understand the bible construct that we take no credit for ourselves when we do well and blame satan when we do bad.
I view mankind as potential and that all of us have the potential to be hereos and achieve greatness without the dogma of organized religion. In other words sin is believed by those who are tender minded and perhaps have a difficult time dealing with reality.

Well my view is at least real and noticeable results can be seen. Its better than using scare tactics to win people to your side.

You're correct.

Man created God to bring understanding to all things that could not be explained by apparent, physical evidence.

Little did man know that God would trivialize his entire struggle through-out time. It's amazing that the human race has made it as far as we have.

Peter told Jesus that they had left all to follow him, so what do they get in return? Jesus did not tell him that that question was wrong, but answered it plainly, that they will be richly rewarded. (Matthew 19:27-29).

The Bible teaches us that God will recognize our individual efforts, and will reward them individually. (Matthew 24:44-51, 25:1-30).

The Bible also places the blame of wrongdoing on the individual, not on demons. We make choices and we must live by them. 1 Corinthians 3:3:11-17, 10::1-14).

Therefore, there is nothing particularly wrong with doing as you say. However, this life is not over, and we don't always know the right time to start boasting. Paul the apostle says that he is going to wait until the judgment when the perfect Judge will judge his works. (1 Cor. 4:3-5). That is the better way to go.

Just do good, enjoy it, but don't focus on it. Your life is not over. Who know whether you will turn to evil and end your days in wickedness, when all your good works will be thrown away? (Prov. 12:13-14).

First of all I dont see where you got the idea that Christians blame their faults or bad deeds on Satan.

Satan does tempt people to do bad things but the responsibility is on the person. That is why we are asked to choose to believe in Jesus, we dont just say "oh Jesus made me believe in him"

Who would be a hero? for what reasons?
Why would anyone achieve greatness and for whom?
Not sure what you mean.

You can take credit for your self but within the context of acknowledging God and his gifts and his enabling of you do to good.

1 Corinthians 4:6 I have applied all these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, brothers, that you may learn by us not to go beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up in favor of one against another. 7 For who sees anything different in you? What do you have that you did not receive (from God)? If then you received it, why do you boast as if you did not receive it?

1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.

I guess the theory is that God helps you with everything good and Satan temps you into bad things.
I understand it like I understand how the universe perfectly made earth and it's solar system.

Here, here.

I did my homework yesterday, yay me.
I woke up late this morning and haven't touched it, yet, even though I have deadlines and finals looming. Bad moddyalmondy, bad. The devil didn't make me do it... I chose to be a lazy bum today.... and I'll pay the price later for my lethargy.

The system is setup so that any and everything good that happens is god's doing, and any and everything bad is done by man who was created by god in his own image.I don't understand it either
