i jsut got prescribed ritalin la for a.d.d. at about 20 mg and i feel like the onset only last about 2 to 3 hours which is not enough to get me through the day..it also makes me extremely hungry by the time it wears off..does anyone else have any experiences with the drug for advice and insight

Are you, as a parent, talking to your teen about sexual issues (STD prevention, contraceptives, risks) or do you count on school programs to inform them?
Or, if you aren't a parent, had your mom/dad told you what you needed before having sex? Was this an easy or difficult thing to hear and/or bring up to them?
Please help me, as I'm looking for statistics to encourage/discourage how teens learn about this issue

A couple of months ago we got a new computer and with the package came two 'rendition' 1GB RAM 'cards' (or whatever they are called). I installed them and the computer worked perfectly well.

Just a couple of days ago I received four 'Ballistix' 1GB ram 'cards' that we had ordered to try and speed up the computer. When I inserted all four of them the computer would switch on and you would hear the CD and CD/DVD drive booting up but then the screen would stay blank and the computer would stop making noises, (As the HDD etc. do when it's booting up) but the computer was still running. (You could hear the fan).

Then I took two of the new RAM 'cards' out, so there were just two remaining and the computer worked fine. But when I reinserted the two others the same problem occured.

I have checked the manual and that isn't much help.

Please Help...

I know its the wrong section but i wasnt getting any answers.
I dont really qualify for scholarships and i dont really qualify for student loans.( I need to get a job but i havent had one through out highschool, well i had one for like 2 months) Anyway what can i do to pay for college.If i fill out FAFSA since im 18 do they go all by what i have or do they go by what my parents have?Also my parents used to make about 132,000 a year but my mom doenst have a job any more and neither does my step-dad so swe have unemployment.How would that work on the FAFSA?Im really confused her eand any help anyone has to offer would be really appreciated.Im kinda trapped and i dont know how to get out so please help, thanks.

My mother has been addicted to amphetamines for over 30 year. My uncle and I have tried to get her help but she is on social security and from what I understand if they find out that she is an addict they will stop payment. I don’t want to just let her die but that’s all I can seem to do. Her mind is so far gone that to her anyone who tries to help her is really tiring to kill her and she has become violent and verbally abusive to anyone close enough to hear her . If anyone can help, please do and please pray for her. Thank you.

my dog died on July 06, 2007 due to a reaction from a surgery
he was only 4 in human years
he was a chihuahua mix and was absolutely adorable he loved to play soccer and i still miss him and havent' gotten over it
please help me feel better =(
he was the best dog ever
