ok i always feel when im talking to someone new that my skin has gone all flakey, or that im too small (heightweise, im only 5'1) or silly stuff like that, like im really paranoid
so i feel really shy and i never make new friends out of school because of my shyness
also im really loud person when you get to know me, its just around new people and im going to a new college in a few months that will have like no-one i know so i need some tips on how to not be soo shy and selfconscious !

okay. i have this guy friend who is really cool and everything. i dont see him to much, but i talk to him almost everyday online. when he has a problem or something, he always opens up to me, like im the only friend he has. and that isnt a bad thing, but the first time i met him in person ( he is my friends friend so i knew he wasnt like, 43 years old!) it was too clod by the door so i just said hi and backed away from the door. he only saw me for like, 4 secconds and the next day online, he asked me if i liked what i saw when i saw him. i just said what did u think? and he was like come on u know what i mean. but he wouldnt really say anything like that to me. and another time, he asked me what i would rate him on a scale from 1-10. i tild him i didnt really know. and then later on in the conversation like 15 minuetes later, he said, "if i were to ask u out, and im not saying that i like you, would u say yes?"

My girlfriend is about to have her first child. She has a baby book and will get a lot of other things at her baby shower. I'm looking for some advice preferably from some one who's had a kid and can advise me on something that can help her throughout her pregnancy, And would make a good x-mass gift. Honestly, a local Baptist church had its parishioners hand out little comic books on Halloween telling little kids that it doesn't matter if they are good people or not; if they don't accept Jesus as their lord and savior then they will go to Hell.
Apparently, according to this, it is Satan who tells people that being a good person is important. God tells us to be Christians, because that is the ONLY thing that matters.

i have an extremely large family and i have chosen to get a box of christmas cards and stuff them with 2 or 3 scratch off lottery tickets each and buy the kids the big plastic candy canes with candy in them. which will cost me approx $275. do u think thats being to cheap and tacky? i have approx 50 people to cover)

I've been wanting to take up a new sport lately. I wanted to pick something completely new that people can't imagine me doing. I narrowed it down to boxing, ballet, and rugby. I'm doubting ballet a little bit, because I'm not flexible...at all. I told my dad that I wanted to try boxing but he started telling me all these horror stories of losing your retina and brain damage. Is it true that your retina can fall out?

Do any of you know of any sports that are really different and not too dangerous? Currently, I play soccer and I'm a distance runner. I just need something that's not mainstream. Thanks!
