not just this question, but all questions....they always say that their "sacred text" whatever that may be states this or that, but there are always contradictions. If it was the infallable word of god, don't you think he/she/or it would have made things pretty clear?

Rogaine is just minoxidil. If I were to take minoxidil in pill form for hair loss, would it work, and how much? I've heard that people using it for high blood presure, grow lots of hair all over.

Who is the winner in your opinion? I am rooting for Mel B all the way! I think she is an incredible dancer and performs beautifully with Maksim. Helio is my runner up for his charisma and energy, but I think Julianne covers a lot for him and takes away his attention cuz she takes the showy steps for herself. Marie Osmond is a blast to watch, but she is just not the best. And Jennie Garth I simply don't like. I think she's too stiff in dancing, plus her facial expression is always a pig's snout. I think she should have been the first one to go home.

I have been doing a lot of research on Astral projection. I have tried to eat only vegetables, meditation, and all the AM with George Norie "coast to coast" stuff. I even went so far as try to use DMT a chemical that is secreted from your pineal gland when you dream to try and get some answers. But to no avail.
Just some info on my meditation, is that I cannot imagine being in a grass field visually in my mind. But I can make myself feel that I am in a grass field. So in the Astral projection directions when it says visualize something I am actually just feeling like I am.
I have had several lucid dreams where I tried to manipulate it into an astral projection but ultimately just woke up. Anyone know if there is any truth to astral projection.
I am not gullible, I am a scientist and my logic and reason tells me that there is no such thing. But I choose to prove to myself that there is nothing more out there.

Judging by several recent posts in the global warming section, it appears some people are unwilling to acknowledge that, whilst small in quantity, atmospheric carbon dioxide is capable of affecting our climate.

To these people I would ask: If CO2 (and the other greenhouse gases) are incapable of affecting the climate then how do you explain natural warming?

If you have ever used the argument that climate change is natural then please explain how you isolate this claim from any association with the heat retentive ability of the atmosphere.

If you accept natural warming, then by default you have to accept unnatural (human) warming - it's caused by one and the same thing.

If you do not accept natural warming then please explain how our planet has a moderated temperature (33°C above that if were there no greenhouse effect).

I heard from my brother mentioned that a trained Recon have an option to join BUD program, which I presume to be a school for the Seals. On the other hand, a Seal doesn't require to go to whatever school the Recon go. It sounds that a Recon doesn't have full training while a Seal could do everything a Recon could do. It sounds almost as if Recon is just more of fodder for the Seal. Stealthfully scout out the perimeter and identify the threat but try not to engage in any battle and report back with info. Mission accomplish. Wow what an intense, afrenaline pumping mission! I know I'm been sarcastic. No offense to those who are member of the Recon.
