i jsut got prescribed ritalin la for a.d.d. at about 20 mg and i feel like the onset only last about 2 to 3 hours which is not enough to get me through the day..it also makes me extremely hungry by the time it wears off..does anyone else have any experiences with the drug for advice and insight

i use ritalin sa and in my experince all of the stimulants supress your appitie hungry , i become really hungry when it wears off too, however i was getting little or no effect so i was upped yesterday, try a time release like ritalin sa or concerta.

When I was in practice, it seemed that my patients responded better to repeated doses of the standard methylphenidate than to a single dose of sustained release form. The results improved when I prescribed Ritalin LA and told the pharmacist not to substitute with generic methylphenidate. I think the generic has improved since I retired, but there are now other options that may perform better in many patients.

do no longer smoke something 2 stable n do no longer take ur pills n weed on the comparable time n c if that facilitates reason have faith me i know how u experience i could h8 2 have 2 supply up piff lol wish this facilitates =D

Most of those ADD meds do cause loss of appetite, which to me is pretty scary!
