I have always loved watching cookery progs and still do - but I can't stand nasty people so I just can't watch it which is a shame because it looks like quite a good show (from what i can gauge by the 2 minutes i can manage to sit through) - don't get me wrong, I can swear as much as anyone else, it's just that there's a time and a place

Well if it is wrongage I'm with you. I think it's a power thing that's attractive. I used to also think Simon Cowell was vaguely attractive in a powerful way but after seeing him trying to wind up Clarkson I've decided he's just TOO egotistical. Gordon on the other hand - yeah, gruff, oddly attractive, comical and good with his hands - I'll go with you on that!

I really like him. He has a real passion for what he is doing.
That quality is hard to find in this day and age.
He works really hard to help the people get their acts together. Even scrubbs stoves and paints.
You guys need to read Roasting In Hell's Kitchen. He pulls no punches about his life, what he has done.
I watch the F Word and Kitchen Nightmares on BBC also
I loved Hell's Kitchen. .

yes. you'd understand why he gets upset if you could see some of the restuarant kitchens he's been in on show. talk about some nasty places to cook in. He's very blunt with those people and should be.

He deserves great respect for throwing out the food critic who went to his restaurant with Joan Collins.

I think he is fantastic very honest knows exactly what he is talking about he has worked damn hard to get where he is now. The people on kitchen nightmares do my head in they want him to come and help save their business so CHUFFIN WELL LISTEN TO HIM

I love him. He's frank and brutally honest, when so many people are always trying to be "nice" (ie phony and boring)

Plus, he's a philanthropist. On Kitchen Nightmares he pays for a lot of restaurant renovation/construction out of his own pocket, for people that are on the show.

Watching him right now, he's cool, but the swearing is such a let down... why can't he see that he doesn't need to swear so much. If he was my son I'd be sooooo embarrassed
