Sweetie, he is beautiful. I am so sorry for your tragic loss. You are right, he was much too young. I hope that one day the happy memories will outweigh the grief you are feeling. He was put here for a reason, although God took him much too young, he was put in your life for a reason. I am so sorry.

I wish I could wave a magic wand and take your pain away!
I too lost a beloved dog (February this year.) She was only six!
It hurts still but I feel that all my pets are sent for a reason and they leave when they do for reasons we may not understand at the time. I now have another dog who due to her circumstances needed a really experienced Shepherd owner and she is my comfort when I feel low!
I'm going to have a whole pack waiting for me at Rainbow Bridge!
Take comfort from the good memories of your handsome boy and from knowing you gave him a good life (in those pictures he looks so happy)!
I know it's a cliche but it's still true, Time heals the wounds!

I am so sorry for your loss. He was the cutest puppy i have ever seen. the only way to feel better is to think about the good times you had with him (like when he dressed up lol how cute) and let time heal you. I have lost many dogs and i know how you feel. He seemed like a happy dog, he would not want you to be sad!
Feel better!

He is very adorable and I understand the pain of lossing a pet and there is no "easy" way to get over it. I know this may not be what you want to hear but try getting another dog. I'm very sorry that you lost your dog. It will get better in time.

aww hun im so sorry....its always hard to lose a pet, even wen they are young...especially wen they are young....
it hurts alot even wen they are older too...
my cat lived to b 21 in human years, way beyond the norm.
im really sorry.... u should keep a toy or his collar as a reminder of all the good things u and him had. hes happy now...very happy, i mean im sure he was happy with you but not he gets to be with God and everyone up there, and im sure he knows u love him tons and miss him alot, every night i pray for Sebastian(the old cat) i was destroyed wen he died cuz he died in my arms.... but then i think.... "you know, i gave him an awsome life, he couldnt have asked for anything better" and thats really all you gotta think... its never easy losinf anyone...and pets are considered family to many people, so sometimes it almost hurts as bad as losing another family member. just kno that he knows everything u are feeling and that he wouldnt want u to feel sad or be upset, he wants to see you happy... the pain doesnt go away right away....it takes time to heal wounds that deep. my grandma died of lung cancer 2 months ago and i was with her also, and i still cry alot cuz i miss her... but shes up there keeping Sebastian company,....who knows maybe he will become friends with Sebastian, even though sebastian is a cat lol...

*****
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Oh sweetie. I'm so sorry for your loss of that sweet little pup. I feel your pain. I lost my 10 year old cat 2 days ago and I'm having a hard time too. There's really nothing I can say to make you feel better. You will feel better with time. That's been my experience anyway. Good luck to you.
