How can they support someone that ignores subpoenas and hides behind executive priviledge whenever he is questioned?

We live in the philippines so we don't have winter. I have experienced snow when i was in europe BUT my brothers still haven't. We are planning to go to China next month which i believe is winter time. Which part of china gets thick thick snow? I don't wanna disappoint my brothers. Although part of our itinerary is to see the great wall which is already "great" enough BUT of course it would be really nice if they can see some snow too.

i was praying last night and i heard something say, "you are lying", but i could not distinguish if it was male or female because i didn't actually "hear" it. it was clear as day with out sound. my sister who has taught me a lot about God and Jesus told me that it could have been Satan trying to stear me away or it could have been Jesus telling me that I am lying because I am not trying hard enough to live my life the way i say i am...any thoughts on this?

If I call myself a badger and get acrylic nails 3 inches long and scratch everyone to death who comes near, am I a badger? NO.

Sugarcoat it all you want, its still selling your body for money, and even those who do "cake parties", Its just another form of daddy appoval stripper condescending bahaviour to all women - even, and especially, if celebrities do it and enjoy it and aprove of it. Have a spine, unlike those Dems who are willing to sell our womens rights out.

I have no issues - at alll - with sex between loving adults (in all of its variances) and being proud of ones sexual being BUT MONEY SHOULD NEVER have any factor in it. AT ALL.

I see posts on here all the time that democrats are a bunch of lazy, unemployed loosers, sitting around without jobs, living off the government etc...... In my job I deal with these types of peope every day. .....My impression of them is that they dont have any political affiliation at all, they are neither republicans or democrats, they dont care about politics, the majority dont vote.....why would you think that if someone is so lazy that wont pick up the trash off their own floor that they would actually make the effort to go vote for anyone or anything?

My boyfriend absolutely hates my friends because he says they're just not his type of people. He says that in a calm, rational way but when it comes to being around them, right afterwards he'll completely talk smack about them FOREVER. It's the most annoying thing I've ever heard. and how can i not be upset at the fact that he always has to say something bad about them. How come he can't just accept that they're people he doesn't like and GET OVER IT?

My husband and I are living in our first place together .. we are young, and semi-struggling financially. We live in a small studio apartment in the ghetto. The neighborhood is very, very dangerous. The 6 month lease we signed is coming to an end shortly, and I desperately want to move. The rent here is the cheapest around, so my husband wants to stay here to save up the most money possible for our future.
While I understand this motive, we might not have a future if we keep living here! He doesn't want me ever exiting the apartment for anything because of the neighborhood. Theirs a grocery store right up the block, but I can't go to it when we're out of something. I have to wait for him to get home at the end of the day.
It's basically like being trapped in a miserable little jail cell all day every day. I only want to move up like $50 more in rent a month, but he's afraid of the moving costs like a new deposit somewhere else. Should I not complain about staying another 6 months?

What is the best way to lay tile so that you minimise the number of unsightly "edge-on" tiles overall?

To elaborate:

I have some 40cm, fairly thickish ceramic tile. Brown marble-effect surface, white "side profile" (i.e. looking at the tile edge-on).

To me, it seems inevitable that some of it (around the angles of the bathroom, etc), is going to show "edge on", thus exposing the white side profile of the tile.

But.

I have seen tiling jobs (e.g. in hotel bathrooms, etc.) where this appears to have been concealed somehow - the join at the angles is "seamless", and the tile edge cannot be seen (and only the faintest, thinnest line of grout can be seen.)

How do I achieve something like that?

Did they bevel or angle the join, or was it just black magic, lol?

I bought the lock from them. Who ever broke in didn't cut the lock, there was no damage, all they did was move the lock to one side which made for easy access. So the unit itself was not secure and failed. I did not get the insurance and I am wondering if I might have a case in small claims court because the unit itself could not be secured?

Do you know by doing that you are becoming a slave to him thats what he want. He doin't wan't us to serve God by letting us do bad things like aldaltry stilling killing what ever that makes us feel good. I have a co-worker (we sit in open cubicles) who sits about 12 feet away. He farts all day long, sometimes 2-3 times in a row. Once I even heard him grunting.. How do I handle it? He's in his 20's so he's not old where you would think ok, maybe it's uncontrollable. Please don't say "just ask him to stop". Seriously put yourself in this extremely uncomfortable position. What would you do?? Oh and I have told my boss but he seems too embarrassed to bring it up. Should I even be asking that he stop since it's a bodily function? I mean, can employers even ask someone to stop something like that??
