That's just a slogan a buzzword like family values and no child left behind. Empty rhetoric that doesn't mean anything and is only meant to make the base feel good.

First I wanted to answer this Q with it's Clintons fault as a joke but I see a conservative beat me to that. Sure he doesn't see the irony

Well, if you are referring to the firing of US Attorneys, that is perfectly within the President's powers of office. They serve at the pleasure of the President, it is that simple.

As an example, no lengthy complaint was made when 92 of them were fired in 1992.

"There is nothing that bush has done that raises a question in your minds?"

Yeah. He has made mistakes. Not hard enough on border security, and he has done nothing for Social Security. He is also too chummy with the UN, and seems to be pushing for a North American Union.

All of those things in my opinion are bad for this country, yet he appears to support them.

Wow I can't believe how many posters on here are riding the bush/Cheney train right around the bowl into the sewer. It baffles me. The answers on here are exactly what the questioner is talking about, personal responsibility, you can't answer the question you have to attack Clinton. There is nothing that bush has done that raises a question in your minds??????????????????? Deflect and deny, it's incredible.........

The Republicans know NOTHING of personal responsibility. They are freeloaders.
Riding the public system but whining about paying taxes.

And "personal responsibility" is just a buzzword tossed around by their talking head Gods.

Look, Meathead. You're fostering the same illusion that conservative equals Bush supporter.

First off, Bush isn't any more guilty of this than ANY president before him except Reagan and Nixon.

Secondly, The only reason GWB won in '04 was because the Democrat party ran Kerry!

Don't worry, by the time you get out of high school, you'll have accumulated enough life experience to see past all the bumper stickers and maybe you'll think for yourself. I believe in you, you can do it!!!

There is no case against Bush... It was the Democrats that charged into the war. It was Hillary and all the others who said we needed to get Saddam Hussain. John Kerry made statements that Hussain had weapons of mass destruction. Everyone believed that, even the Russians told us they believed it... The German government had a person in custody that was an eye-witness, but they wouldn't let us question him... Our Intelligence Service told the President that they were sure the WMD were there.

Now its the Democrats that have declared that it was all Bush's lies. They want to make Bush the scape goat and walk away... Talk about talking not taking personal responsibility... Look at Hillary!!!

Isn't using executive powers, using personal responsibility if you personally have executive powers?
