Say for instance someone at work (let's say they're of the same sex) is always speaking to you. They soon begin to stop you while you walking by to compliment something you're wearing. Then they ask what area you live in, whether you're married, have kids, etc. Would you:
a) Make conversation with them as well, and try to find out more about them. After all, you can never have enough friends.
b) Reluctantly hold a conversation with them, while wondering if something is wrong with them because of how free-spirted they are. It usually takes you a while to warm up to a person, especially when it comes to being friends.
c) Immediately end the conversation by changing subjects, or by acting as if you have something else to do that's more important. Regardless of how friendly they are, you are not the type of person that holds a conversation with people you don't know anything about.
I would say "a" for me.
