i would like to think i am good....

Not trying to sound "smarty pants" here, but thats a really open, open question...
People that are good.....natured?
.....as in compassionate?
......hearted?
I mean, I think I'm a pretty good person, but that alone wont get me to Heaven now, will it?
Why do I feel I'm good?,....I have tons of compassion, I constantly dive deep in my over all "purpose" of being here, I absolutly love to make other people happy in some way...people are what I do best. I dont steal, I dont purposly cheat anyone, and I cannot stand to be the cause of anyones pain.
Is that the kind of good you mean?

Define "good."
From a scriptural point-of-view: there is no one who is "good," only God.
From a logical point-of-view, everyone is part "good" and part "bad." You COULD define a "good" person as someone who is more good than bad, but then how do you define what is "good" about someone or what is "bad?" How much "good" does someone have to do to be "good?"
Or you could be more literal and mean "good," as in "good at something." Perhaps I count as a "good" person because I am good at studying or playing hockey or writing poetry. But then, maybe I am "bad" because I am bad at basketball and penmanship.
Life just isn't that simple. It's all relative and a matter of context and definition.

Offcourse there are... There will always be good people as the Lord's mercy is on them in any dispensation they may exist. It is written in the book of Luke Chapter 1 verse 50 it says, "And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation."
And there will be good people until the last days and until the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I'd say they all are, except that every single one of them take license with the anonymity that the internet offers and let loose with their vilest of behaviours.
Some of them don't though.
