I ask because I think I am a pretty typical American-mutt...that is the only way I can think of to describe my ethnicity.
My dad is half German, half Irish...but my mom is English, Scottish, Dutch, French, Syrian and Native Mohawk....
Many times I envy those who were raised with a strong cultural identity...
Anyways...just curious...

I realized today that I wish I was more loved. The only pure love I have is from my kids and I have a close friend were we have a platonic love. Other than that no one loves me. I am single and my parents and extended family love me alot, but the love that they give is used to make me feel bad about not meeting their expecations, so I don't feel the love that a human needs from them. I am happy with my kids. I am happy living in an isoalated place, because I dont' have to deal with people alot. But today I realized that I wish I was more loved. Do you wish you were more loved?

She has a link to a bankrate.com article. What Annie does not realize, and that prompted this question of my own. Is that there are major differences between "Brokers" and "Registered Investment Advisers"
The latter , is held to a legal responsibility to provide service that is in the clients best interests. That means I have a fiduciary duty to my clients, that is legally binding. . .
Brokers...are connectors of people and product. they do not provide planning... they do not provide a written plan with instructions. . at the top of your statement if your account is a "Brokerage Acct" you have a broker...not an "advisory acct"

My husband dated a gal eleven years ago. He has told me that he fell in love with her and wanted to marry her. When he asked her, she rejected him and said she wasn't ready for marriage. My husband told me this woman left him to find a man who didn't want a commitment.

I am not questioning my husband, but doesn't that sound strange? My husband also told me (last night in fact) he is not in love with this woman, he loves me. But he does have love for her, just is not in love with her. (Thinks about her sometimes and hopes shes doing ok. Wherever she might be. His words. ) I had no idea how to respond. When he noticed that I was speechless, he started apoligizing, telling me he shouldn't of said anything.

I trust my husband, and I know he loves me. Very much. I know that he wouldn't leave me. But...how do you respond to something like that?!

Ok, not sure which one yet, but I dont think the following cars could be THAT expensive.

92-94 Pontiac Grand Am- 2.3 or 2.4 Liter
90-94 Pontiac Grand Prix- 3.4 is preferred.
90-94 Chevy Cavalier- Any motor

What are the pro's and con's of these three? and yes I know they wont last forever like a honda, but I can work on Gm and Chevy alot easier than I can a honda.

I have a powerpoint with a few sound files, and they are all .wav. For some reason, they are being linked to instead of embedded. I want the powerpoint to work on another computer, but it won't work unless it is embedded, and I don't want to bring the separate sounds with me. I know powerpoint supports embedded .wav so why isn't it working?

I relocated to accept a job offer. Now after many months I am finding that my employer is in debt to several of it's vendors. Also for shipping costs and numerous other amounts. Plus large amounts of sales taxes and more. Because I relocated to take this job, I am afraid. My instincts tell me to get out - run for the hills. How do you decide. These seem like huge warning flags to me?

I answered a Q earlier about breastfeeding in public. Some1 asked how other mothers do it. I wrote:

"I dont do it. I am going 2 one day bcuz I'l have 2 Im sure I'll end up having 2 for some reason, but 4 now I am home in time 4 her feeding, in the car or near a mommys rm or nursing rm. Im modest & its personal between my baby & I."

So I am still in public, just out of direct sight of others. I am modest & would rather have a quiet place 2 breastfeed like a mothers rm or be home by the time my baby is ready 2 eat. I believe it's a personal time 4 my baby & I 2 b alone. Of course if the situation arises 4 my baby 2 be fed in public bcuz I got caught out too long etc, I'm going 2 feed her or prepare by bringing pumped milk bcuz bottles r ok 2 have every once in awhile & I know it's my milk. I hope others aren't pressured in2 public feeding. It's a personal choice, to each their own :-)

So why do you suppose I would get "thumbs downed" Curious.
