You can either rent in the very low end where they have difficulty finding renters or you can do a weekly rental at one of the "hotels". They can boot you out immediatly if you flake out so they do not worry about your credit history.

You can resolve yourself to a less desireable area
If you have the income and can prove it.......offer to pay a first last and higher deposit.

Tell the landlord your idea is to write the rental contract so that if you are ever late on rent, he can apply the last mos rent and issue you a 30 notice without cause. If you replace the last months rent within a week of that, then you can continue to stay.

The problem usually is, with people in your position, that you do not manage your money well to begin with so you can't come up with the extra that may make a landlord take a chance on you. That usually why people are in these type of circumstances.

Start Paying your bills before doing anything else.

Try renting a room. Craigslist.

Keep trying. Many smaller landlords do not check credit. Try especially 2 family buildings, if you have ney of those there.
