there will be a room filled with people on my team but my boss seem to concentrate on looking at me all the time. This has happened with other jobs and even if i am in the same room with the vice president, she stares at me alot when gving presentation. This question goes to all the managers and big wigs...what makes you want to stare at a particular person when you are having group meetings....it is embarressing and always happens to me.

My son is 18 months old and is still not saying words. He babbles constantly and is always trying to talk. I try to teach him more and do a little “speech therapy” like saying mamamama dadadada lalalala making sounds with he’s mouth but he just gets frustrated or loses interest in what I’m saying. I read to him a lot and teach him objects and everything. He appears to understand everything. All commands that I say to do or not to he understands very well. I don’t know if it’s me, that’s not trying hard enough or what?

I am going on my first cruise next week. We are leaving from San Diego and going to Cabo abord the Carnival Elation ship. It is my first cruise . . Can't wait to go. I didn't get the room with the window though . . do you think that was a bad move? Overall do you think it is important . . or is it like Vegas where you aren't in your room for much anyways except for sleep & knockin boots.

These translations are for all of you wonderful women out there, so that you will know what we really mean when we say...

"IT'S A GUY THING"

Translated:* "There is no rational thought pattern connected with it, and you have no chance at all of making it logical."

"CAN I HELP WITH DINNER?"

Translated:* "Why isn't it already on the table?"

"UH HUH," "SURE, HONEY," OR "YES, DEAR"

Translated:* Absolutely nothing. It's a conditioned response.

"IT WOULD TAKE TOO LONG TO EXPLAIN"

Translated:* "I have no idea how it works."

"TAKE A BREAK, HONEY. YOU'RE WORKING TOO HARD."

Translated:* "I can't hear the game over the vacuum cleaner."

"THAT'S INTERESTING, DEAR."

Translated:* "Are you still talking?"

"YOU KNOW HOW BAD MY MEMORY IS."

Translated:* "I remember the theme song to 'F Troop,' the address of the first girl I ever kissed and the vehicle identification numbers of every car

I've ever owned... but I forgot your birthday."

"OH, DON'T FUSS, I JUST CUT MYSELF. IT'S NO BIG DEAL."

Translated:* "I have actually severed a limb but will bleed to death before I admit that I'm hurt."

"HEY, I'VE GOT MY REASONS FOR WHAT I'M DOING."

Translated:* "And I sure hope I think of some pretty soon."

"I CAN'T FIND IT."

Translated:* "It didn't fall into my outstretched hands, so I'm completely clueless."

"WHAT DID I DO THIS TIME?"

Translated:* "What did you catch me at?"

"I'M NOT LOST. I KNOW EXACTLY WHERE WE ARE."

Translated:* "No one will ever see us alive again."

"WE SHARE THE HOUSEWORK."

Translated:* "I make the messes; she cleans them up."

Hoover Dam was built in the 1930s to provide electricity for the southwest U.S. and to prevent the wild Colorado River from flooding. Hoover Dam is about 380 m wide and is about 221 m high. Assume that Hoover Dam can be approximated by slab geometry with a width of 380 m (W). What is the total force (newtons) on the dam face if the water level from Lake Mead (holding basin for Hoover Dam) is 200 m (D)? Assume the density of water in Lake Mead is 1000 kg/m3.

I'm at 30,000 miles and my tires are worn way down. A guy told me to take it to the dealership because apparently this has been a common problem on the 2006 Mazda 3's. Anyone else have this problem?

The name of their church is the church of JESUS CHRIST of latter days saints, right?

how are they NOT christian when they have "jesus christ" in the title of their church?

If you believe in Jesus Christ, you are a Christian. That's the basic definition anyways. why are people so nitpicky?
