I called to get a piece of glass cut for a friend's window for his door that was cracked. The hardware company told me by law they are not allowed to sell glass for a door. Can someone tell me the reason behind this? Thanks for the replies.

If this is correct, that we need to show support to the president as evidence we support the troops, why is it that of the homeless in America, 25% are veteran? Where is their support when they return home? If Bush is SO behind the US service personnel, why is the VA gutted and so many of those who offered themselves for our country are sitting on heating grates and in shelters. Where is their support from our administration? He wants our support, but where is his?

hello, my friend was stopped by police while driving and they arrested him bc he had a warrant..... why did he get those?? I know hes never done anything bad... the only thing that comes to my mind is that he has had tickets but i dont remember if he payed them, but he must have...

I'm wondering about the Holy Grail, and the cup that Joseph hid in Benjamins sack in order to keep him in Egypt. Whether you take it as a real cup or a metaphor is entirely up to you; but do you think there is any meaningful connection between the two cups? I don't know if "deeply alone" makes sense. I'm talking about the feeling that no one puts you first in life, that no one knows or understands the darkest crevices of your mind, that no one relates (or wants to relate) to your pain.

And do you regard the feeling of "alone" as negative?

Actually this makes no sense at all, since 'sin' is supposed to mean disobeying a deity, and someone who doesn't believe said deity exists at all cannot reasonably be said to be disobeying it. The word 'sin' would only apply to believers even if a deity *did* exist, which of course is not the case, so sin does not exist either.

They trained me, turned me into a man, showed me the world, payed for my 1st, 2nd and 3rd college degree. I would not change any of my military experiences. In fact my only regret is that I left the military.. But then I look at my wife (who i would not have met had I stayed) and I am OK with my choice... In fact I never met a Veteran who had a horrible experience... Someone I know will reference the current news paper saying that 250000 vets were homeless, but I have NEVE met a VET who was desparately needy...

By the way, I was in juvenile detention custody for 3 years prior to entering the service... My family was destitute... I had to get 5 waivers to get in.... THANKS USN FOR TAKING A CHANCE WITH ME... YOU GUIDED ME... I moved from e-1 through e-5 in 2 years..... I busted my but... I only had a 9th grade education when I joined...

As far as I know, ANYONE WHO puts effort in will be rewarded with a great life...

The first time at the nissan dealership they told me that it was because the filter wasn't the right one this happened about 3 month after the first month inspection, we are talking about a brand new car, the second time just happened yesterday about four month from the first incident. I heven't taken the car to the nissan dealership.
Does any boddy has a clue to what might have been happening here?

I need to settle a little debate with my friend.
She reckons all Americans are ignorant to things that happen outside they're own country. She believes they are so wrapped up in their own news they are unaware of the world around them.

Oh and i am aware of my gaffe of describing it as skydiving when he's doing it from beyond the sky, but space diving sounds crappy

I want to know how do you think this complicated universe come into existence without a craetor??? I find it unsane to tell me that the chair I am siiting on came by coincedence, no matter how long it took their parts to gather and be a complete stable chair? well, do u find the universe less complicated or WHAT???????????
