I know that money cannot buy happiness, but lack of money creates a lot of misery. True every second is precious, but for 1 year of my life, I would be able to spend more time with my kids instead of working, and (with the right investments) I would ensure that I could provide my kids with a future where lack of money would not be so much of an issue.

Well, I spend a year of my life for $40000 now, so I guess a MIL is a better investment!
