Hi! A friend recenty gave me a 10 gallon tank with about 40 tetras and 6 other various fish. The tank was filthy when I got it so I cleaned it up and changed out 1/2 the water. I went to the pet store and bought a gravel vacumm. I use a water treatment that I got from the pet store but the tank is now even worse. It seems that everytime I try to clean it up, it just makes it worse because I have stirred up the gravel at the bottom. The tank has a heater but no filter. Should I get a filter? what kind? how can I better clean the gravel? Help! I have no experience with fish but have a two year old that already loves to watch them!

I know other religious people and non-religion people get anxiety and depression around this time of year but do Jehovah's Witnesses - who don't celebrate any holiday get depressed this time of year, too? My husand's uncle is a Long standing JW and he committed suicide today. If you say yes - then please explain why. I used to get very depressed at this time but that's because I've always lived very far away from my family and I was lonely - and reminded of it with all the pictures of perfect families and everyone having plans and me being forced to face 'the day' alone. Why would JW person feel depressed BECAUSE of the holidays if they have Never celebrated those days?

me and my husband are christians. we have an 8 yr old son that is constantly having nightmares. he dont even sleep in his room no more due to this. i always thought maybe it was his imagination running wild with him UNTIL the other night. the other night he came in our room screaming and crying. i comforted him and sent him back to the couch. he got half way down the hall and started screaming again and running back to me. i got up and looked to see what was going , and i saw a huge tall black figure standing there in front of my son. i immediately called my mom to come and help me pray, and we did. why do you think this intity is tormenting my child???

I have inherited a bottle collection of about 500 old bottles. They are all different kinds fruit jars, ink wells, bitters, milk bottles, beer bottles, whiskey, and poison bottles. I am at my wits ends. My daughter just got ungrounded for not coming home on time and today she comes home from school at 9pm. I called the police because I really didn't know where she was. I pierced my own ear (the second ear hole).

This is what I did when piercing it. I -
washed my hands
sterilised the pin I used, approx. 20 times
washed my hands again after sliding it through my ear
then sterilised the earring several times before putting it in my second ear hole. During the day, my ear was really red so I took the earring out and the ear hole looked like a black dot and clear liquid was coming out. At the moment, my ear is only a bit red and a bit harder than the other ear which is very soft. Will the redness and swell go down? Anybody else been in this situation? Any tips ? Thanks.

I just read several posts alleging that Hillary Clinton is a secret communist, comparing her to Hitler for God's sake, claiming that she actually believes completely different things than she says she believes, and that she has a secret plan to hand America over to its enemies. And they know these carefully guarded facts because, because...well, they just do. I remember lots of people in the last two elections gnashing their teeth over the impending victory of George Bush, but I don't think I've ever seen this level of paranoia. What a Wonderful World

Well for me it was in the 1st grade, and i thought it was a recent song! boy was i wrong. i was really amazed and inspired. now im a sophomore in HS and i still look back on those times (the 90's for me) and wish we could go back to it.

We are newlyweds in our early 30s. I grew up 40mins north of detroit (Birmingham area) but haven't lived there in 10+ yrs...and my husband and I are going to be back in Birmingham for Christmas for 6 days (note - my husband is not from the area). Does anyone have any good suggestions of things to do (or events going on) in the area (downtown detroit, royal oak, birmingham, etc), daytime or nightime?? I want to keep busy and want my husband to have a nice time! Thanks so much for the help!!
