i think troops would be frustrated for the same reasons people back home are.
they are being placed in extreme danger
the goals seem out of sight
they are being forced to serve for much longer than they should
they are ill equipped
they are getting negligent help from iraqi forces
basically there are huge management issues that are preventing the troops from being able to do what they need to do quickly and efficiently. not to mention safely.

they have mixed feelings. on the one hand, they want to get rid of that hell hole and get back to some good ole american pie if ya know what i mean. on the other, they also feel that they should finish the job they started and hate to see all the hard work they've done go to waste. they more than anyone understand the progress and setbacks that are occurring in Iraq. they're probably much more upset with congress than Bush. Bush, while arguably inefficient and stubborn, is at least able to make things happen. congress is definitely inefficient and stubborn, but really hasn't done anything at all lately, and more so than usual since the dems took power

they day that we quit fighting, is the day that i want out.
i have no problems being over there. ive been 3 times and to afghanistan once.
most of the people i work with have no problems with it at all. honestly, we are in this mess and we need to see it through. if we were to just up and leave, we will give the enemy time to rebuild and reorganize. that would be devistating.
the only people i have come across in the military who dont like it, are the ones who joined up for the wrong reasons. if you come into the military, you need to realize your primary job is to protect the country and to fight in wars. its not the boy scouts, we arent earning merrit badges, we are american soldiers putting our lives on the line. each and every one of us. from the swoopiest door kicker to the out of shape finance guy. we are fighting this war together.

Whoever asked the question has to be illiterate or a firm believer in what the far left media hands him daily. You read of death tolls. Seldom do you read about successes. The majority of the militarysigned on as regulars or signed with the Guard, Took their oaths to defend and protect and are doing so. The majority of Americans are not against the war. The majority of Democratic Politicians are, even after they voted for it. So USE YOUR BRAINS AND FIGURE IT OUT!!

geee, i dont know, how many signed up or re-enlisted in the military since this all began? seems to me they want to serve our country! you talk about the majority, where are the majority, i dont see where anybody is asking our troops our the families of the troops serving what we think, you might get a different answer, like we support our troops!

First of all, we will not withdraw until the proper government is set in place and becomes stable. Second, most soldiers understand what Bush is doing and can respect it. Third, why are you asking this question?

They know why they are there because they see the difference with there eyes not what the left wing wants to show. My buddy just went to boot camp last night and I am going in a couple of months.

It's what they choose to do. As long as there are American soldiers overseas, I will support them no matter how I feel about the war or our government.

Look up the reenlistment rates of those stationed in Iraq.
The "majority" of Americans are not for setting a date for withdrawl, which is the sort of thing only a divorced-from-reality moron could actually advocate.
