No one knows the mind of God, but it is possible God is allowing this demon into your life so that you will search the scriptures with all your heart and learn to understand Him more than you ever have before.

I have noticed that demonic activity is on the rise, but then it says in the end of days this would happen. I think we are so close to God's return that there is an all out battle going on for each and every one of us. Satan wants you to believe that this is a spirit of someone who is dead. He wants you to believe and accept his lies. The Bible states that the dead know nothing. They are in a sleep like state. Satan's first lie to humans was " you surely won't die" Satan also wants your child to grow up believing it is the spirit of a dead person. You need to make sure He knows it isn't and that God will protect him if He asks.

Use this as a time to really focus on the Bible and what it says. Don't focus on what your pastor can do for you. Get all your information from the Bible. Take the time to fast and pray. (using the fast time to study and learn more about God) At the end of your fast (however long you feel you need), Pray out loud and ask Jesus to remove this evil being from your home and not to allow it to torment your child. Do not speak to the demon, let Jesus do that. Ask Him to cast it out and to keep it and any other demons from entering your home again.

I said a prayer just now. I hope this is resolved soon.

My mother often said that the devil tries to come into the soul of a believers child to test our belief. I never really understood this until my children became teenagers, but maybe the Lord is testing your faith. I would keep a candle lit and pray. I too will pray for your family. I do not know what causes this but I will do some research and see if I can find anything. How traumatic for you and your son. The Lord says we are safe with Him so I cannot imagine that you could be in harms way. May the peace of Our Lord be with you and your family remember all things are possible through Christ. Peace.

As a Roman Catholic, I do believe in demonic entities. They are also spoken of in the bible. Unfortunately, sometimes children are more open to these things.

Has your child been baptized?
Get the medals of St. Benedict from a Benedictine Monastery- ask for them to be blessed before they are shipped to you.t. (The blessing is actually an exorcism) and have everyone in the family wear it. It is very powerful. The prayer that goes with it is also very powerful.
Get Holy Water and Blessed Salt and use as directed.
DO NOT speak to the entity- it may only make him stronger against you.
Contact a Catholic priest and ask for him to come and bless your home. Keep the lines of communication open with the priest. If one won't help, go to another and another until you find one who will help.

Remember this is truly a battle for your souls.

"BE GONE SATAN- THE CUP YOU OFFER IS VANITIES, DRINK YOUR OWN POISON!"- part of the prayer of St. Benedict.

In Humility, You are in my prayers.
j

PS, As an afterthought, there is a passage in the Bible where someone who had trouble with demons was taken to Peter and Peter could not deliver him from the evil. When he asked Jesus later, Jesus said "Those are a different kind. They require prayer and fasting". Might start fasting now....obviously praying should have already begun.

I believe it is demonic forces. You did the best thing you could do under the circumstances, and that was to call your mom to pray with you and to plead the blood of Jesus. You may want to go through your house to see if there are any items, such as books about demons, pictures of demons, and so forth, in your home. This happened in our home one time, and after my pastor's wife asked me to look, I found a novel written by a Christian author on demons. She took the book and went outside with it. What she did with it, I do not know, but this has not happened again. I will be praying for you & your family. God bless you!!!

My suggestion to you is to do a house cleansing and annoint your home and throw out any items the LORD shows you could be legal grounds for spirits to torment your son. Is there a toy there that is a dragon or something that appears demonic?

Get some poster board and write some comforting scriptures and place this on the walls of your sons room. Annoint his bed and pray over the entire room and home. Ask the LORD to draw a line, a border, around your home and place warrior angels to push back the powers of darkness coming against you.

If you want further information--you are welcome to email me.

I'll pray for you and your son and thank The Lord Jesus Christ you got to see the demon so you can start believing your son. A child is usually punished because the parents messed up. It's a way of God telling you that you need to fix or change something. Believe and pray and continue to have faith in God. May he bless you. Amen.

My dear brother/sister, I understand your case. I think your child is quite young now, I think he will OK as he is growing up. For the time being ,maybe he is too much in
imagination. What kind of books he used to read? You should be care for that. I suggest why not change a room for him and take a big dog for his mate or even accompany him in his room. Let him do some bodily exercise, it is good for sleeping. I will pray for your family. As for myself, when I was very young, I was also very scare, too much imagination. Later,I did lots of bodily exercise to make myself strong. I enjoy sound sleep every night, I became very brave. One should have nothing to scare if do nothing wrong. The Cross is the only sword!

This is a hard one, Jesus talks about demons and spirits, he says to have nothing to do with them. I cannot answerer why, but i can say this, I would do a couple of things, first, try having at least your son go stay at your mothers house, and see if the same thing happened there, the next thing that i would do is talk to your preacher about it. You defiantly need some grounded spiritual guidance on this matter, and third and most important, pray, pray, pray. Be sure to praise God, and thank Him for His sacrifice, and ask him to remove this spirit from your family. I just took a minute and prayed for you and your son, and will keep praying for your family, Please let us know how things go.

I have no idea what you saw, but if I were you I would investigate all possibilities before concluding it is a demon or a spirit.

You should discuss this with your minister and possibly with the police. Something as simple as a tree shadow could cause you to see a figure like the one you describe.

There certainly are aspects to the world that are beyond our comprehension, and this could well be one of them. And such a vision could be terrifying, especially to a child. I would try to deal with the most plausible explanations before considering it to be supernatural.

I am also a Christian, but I think God and his minions pretty much leave us on our own. Satan challenges us daily but in more subtle ways.

Good luck and God bless.

The Bible tells us that there are "anti Christian" forces or demonic forces. We aren't to mess with them or honor them in any way. They might have some powers BUT God is more powerful MUCH more powerful. The Bible tells we will not be tempted beyond what we can handle (if we seek God in our lives.) Do you pray & pray with him before going to bed? If not, it may be a good practice to start and remain doing. In the prayer give God thanks for all the good you have and ask God for aid and direction in the area that is bothering your son. You don't have to come out and say things like demon. black figure, devil, or tormenting. Use words that might imply such things...God knows what you mean. It might not be a bad idea to sleep with him for a few nights or let him sleep with you. He won't feel alone, he'd probably feel more secure, and you/ your husband, could see if or what is actually going on. Before going to sleep it might be wise to put good things in his mind. Fun places you have gone, funny things that have happened, talk about something that he likes. This would put him in a better state of mind before going to sleep. When he does return to sleeping alone, you might want to keep a light on in his room. Jesus was allowed to be tempted by Satan but He didn't fall for his lies. Jusus rebuked Satan and told Satan to "Get ye hence" in other words "Get out of here" Jesus spoke with authority, the authority of God and as Christians we can tap into Gods authority too. When Jesus told Satan to get out, Satan got out..
