I have inherited a bottle collection of about 500 old bottles. They are all different kinds fruit jars, ink wells, bitters, milk bottles, beer bottles, whiskey, and poison bottles. I want to sell them all at once because I don't want to mess with selling one at a time on EBay, just would like to liquidate the whole collection at once for the best price possible. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

You could sell the whole set on Ebay, but you'd make more money if you sold them one by one. Anybody who collects bottles won't need the whole collection, they'll prolly just need one or two. I'd rethink the selling seperately idea.

yellow pages-local antique dealer--but you well get 1/3-of what they worth--im guessing you already know this-there are also auctions-other then e-bay-- i would be interesting in seeing them--myself--some whiskey bottles go for 3,500 a piece--[but] those are the rear ones of course check for marks on the bottom of the bottle--at the least--and get a book from the library-or check on webb-at the least

Put the whole collection on Ebay, not just one at a time.

A local antique shop might take them for half price or less as inventory or someone selling on eBay.
