Scuba diving, or flying an aircraft? Why?

I ask because I try to be a good mom to my 2 kitties. I especially fear for my older one who is 16. I recently noticed a growth on her lower front jaw. Wasn't sure what it was so I called the vet. They said to keep her NPO after 8pm and to bring her in the am. They were planning to clean the teeth under anesthesia and see what it was. While she was there I also pointed out a lump on her tail that has been bothering her. She has subaceous cysts (benign) all over but they are very small. This is much larger and sensitive.
Because she is older they had to do labs first which were perfect, : ) put her under anesthesia, clean the teeth, remove the growth in her mouth (possibility it is a carcinoma so I have to watch her mouth for more) and remove the area on her tail (inclusion cyst - benign). I was expecting a HUGE bill but All together only $215. It didn't matter either way, she's worth it.
So the moral is, check your kitties as you pet, brush, etc. them. Better to catch things early.

Hi! My son and I have been doing a lot of talking recently about adopting a dog, and, although I know he's probably mature enough to take care of one, I can't help but wonder how the new dog will react to my 11 month-old baby. Does anyone have any suggestions on whether or not it would be O.K. to adopt a dog with a baby in the household? And, if so, what measures can I take to prevent and possible injury to my baby by my dog?

When a person says that they aren't ready to be in a relationship,

1.) ...they are really saying that they aren't ready to be in a relationship with YOU.

or

2.).\Do you believe that when a person says they aren't ready to be in a realtionship they really aren't ready to be in a relationship with ANYONE no matter how in love they are with the person.

I personally believe the first one, because when I really love someone I want to be with them, but I guess everyone is different. What's your thoughts?

First of all, I am a sophmore in high school and began my serious college search last year. I'm curious about majors and minors. Do they have to relate at all? For example, I'm considering Music and Marine Biology for my major, and International Studies for my minor. Is that acceptable? And is studying those different things possible?

One more thing: Does anyone know what the average college marching band season is and how often they practice? Because I'm in that now and want to continue it in college but it depends on the schedule because I also want to study abroad for a semester each year.

I'm going to be 38 weeks pregnant on monday 10/29 and have had no signs on labor. The baby has dropped and is head down, as of week 36, but I have no symptons of labor yet. Infact I feel great, I have been sleeping great too. Should I start to induce labor through walking or nipple sitmulation or just let time and nature take its cause???

I am just sick and tired of answering those stupid questions and especially reading the answers.. I try not to answer some of them, but sometimes some of the answers are false and really offensive. I feel so frustrated when people have negative views and post racist statements about Korea, and I constantly end up defending the truth to them. It's like they have absolutely no clue about Korea's deep history and culture.. They are the ones who need to study more history.

How can some fundies believe that somethings are the "Signs" of the "Devil?"

Like for Harry Potter for example. They believe it supports Satanism. There is no evidence becuase I've read all seven of them and found nothing there that relates to religion of any kind. It's just a frickin' book for people to ENJOY!

plus with other things like the superstitutious "666" being the sign of the devil is silly. There is nothing in this world that has anything to prove Satan is real. If you are going to count "Exorcism", believe me that is just mental illness, poisoning, and psyhical illness. Or someone is just starving for attention.

Another thing, if "Satan" is real, then why do you think he's evil? Just because your bible says so? I believe the whole concept of "the devil" is just to scare people from not believing in "God"

We have been married for 3 years and it has been good and bad, we have fought more than we have been happy, both of our faults. I am an American he is from Indonesia. Sometimes I feel I could do better, and find someone that I have more in common with, but I LOVE my husband and he gives me what I need in alot of area's....then some ways he isnt what I need at all. We hurt each other and then separate then get back together, and the cycle continues. What do I do....we have been apart for about 2 months and I miss him. But he doesnt trust me and is still hurt from the past. Is there hope?
