Here in Boston, anywhere from $4.49 to $4.99 depending upon brand and store where you shop. Sometimes 1% is on sale for $1.99 a gallon.

yesterday I bought a gallon of 2% milk in Ft. Smith, Arkansas for $4.12 plus 10% sales tax.

The store brand whole milk here in CA is nudging about $5 now. Thank God we don't drink it, we only cook with it, so I only buy a quart at a time so it doesn't spoil as fast.

In Michigan it ranges from $5.25 to $5.75 for a gallon of milk,I am not kidding!

'round here its running $3.75 to $4, except for one chain (that has its own dairy) that most of the time has it on at $3 as a loss leader.

(I assume your mean COW'S milk - other's can be much more)
