Jfb, you asked a great question. You should post it. I will answer your question while asking one myself.
The first thing that makes a believer, is usually personal experience. Personal experience cannot be felt or duplicated by others. Thats where credibility comes in. Do we believe the persons account?
The second thing for me is if it is a pic, are there more than one pic? I personally dont like single pics. I require at least two and even beeter three pics of the same thing from different distances and angles. these are hard to get for sure. I dont like night pics because you cant see whats around the pic, (reflections and such).But even still different distances and angles makes it hard to discount, if the same thing is in the pics. Having the temps, humidity, times, and circumstances are required. Where was the sun, moon, or any other light in reference to the pics.If you gonna post a pic and say its a ghost, I want to know everything about the pics. Would this be evidence?

i've never sewn a garment before, except an a-line skirt that i never really wore. i bought some satin fabric at the store today and i want to make a simple camisole. does someone have a pattern online or instructions i could follow? a book i could borrow from the library would be great. a beginner sewing book with a camisole pattern. thanks!

ok so i make about 30,000 a yr...yay me lol. ok so i've done doing a lot of research with high risk stocks...i have a lot money in safe places but i just wanna try it out....so i'm gonna take 5,000 and invest it in a company that lets say is selling stock for 0.0388 a share....so if i do that and it goes up to lets say 0.30 i'd make a lot of money but what about taxes? how much would i have to pay? i think 15% but i really dont know. also if it only went up to like .06 it would still be almost double my money. one more thing i asked earlier and its about this stock. the market value is 0$ what kind of affect is that going to have on it if any? please help if this is as good a risk as it seems that would be great.

My husband and I moved into our first house about a year and a half ago. Our next door neighbor is nice, but somewhat annoying. Lately, he has been mentioning about how I need to rake his yard because the leaves are from our tree. Maybe I'm abnormal, but I don't mind leaves in our yard, so I don't even rake my own. I don't feel like it's my duty to rake his yard either. What do you all think?

Theres tha debatable question about havin Christian prayer in public schools. Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, etc kids don't have to join in the prayer if they don't want to.

But since it is a PUBLIC (Open to the knowledge or judgment of all) school, why not have ALL kinds of prayers for each and every religion a student is associated with. I'm pretty sure theres one for every kind. Even take time to have a "non-prayer" silence for atheists.

So lets have an all religion prayer NOT JUST CHRISTIANS in our public schools! lol

OK so i'm being a wind up doll for halloween and i m having trouble getting the key on my back to stay. My costume made of crushed velvet and the key is covered in aluminum foil. It all started at the beginning of the year. A girl in my homeroom started talking to me before class, and I was friendly to her of course. She seemed pretty harmless, so I continued to be nice. I figured out soon that her locker was right by mine and we had a few classes together. After a couple of weeks she turned into an annoyance. She would grab me and pull me to the side to just "talk" when it was time to go to class, interrupt my reading or working to bombard me with questions, and follow me around as much as she could. My friend told this girl politely to leave me alone, but two weeks afterwards she came right back doing the same things. She asked me about my friend telling her to leave me alone, and I said that I wasn't sure what my friend had meant when talking to her. I just didn't want to hurt her feelings, because I don't think she gets to see her friends (if any) between or during classes. However, I know she had several since she has mentioned them ocassionally.

Little Johnny and Susie are only 10 years old, but they just know that they are in love. One day they decide that they want to get married, so Johnny goes to Susie's father to ask him for her hand.

Johnny bravely walks up to him and says "Mr. Smith, me and Susie are in love and I want to ask you for her hand in marriage."

Thinking that this was the cutest thing, Mr. Smith replies, "Well Johnny, you are only 10. Where will you two live?"

Without even taking a moment to think about it, Johnny replies "In Susie's room. It's bigger than mine and we can both fit there nicely."

Still thinking this is just adorable, Mr. Smith says with a huge grin, "Okay then how will you live? You're not old enough to get a job. You'll need to support Susie."

Again, Johnny instantly replies, "Our allowance... Susie makes 5 bucks a week and I make 10 bucks a week. That's about 60 bucks a month, and that should do us just fine."

By this time Mr. Smith is a little shocked that Johnny has put so much thought into this. So, he thinks for a moment trying to come up with something that Johnny won't have an answer to.

After a second, Mr. Smith says, "Well Johnny, it seems like you have got everything all figured out. I just have one more question for you. What will you do if the two of you should have little ones of your own?"

Johnny just shrugs his shoulders and says "Well, we've been lucky so far..."
