My mom wants a Hebrew-English bible for Christmas, but she doesn't know Hebrew. Can anyone suggest a good bible, or bible and translation, to help her?

JPS or Artscroll are good, though each is different in the goals of their translation. Or you could try The Jerusalem Bible, I personally like that one.
