If they were determined to attack American's in America wouldn't they choose the most direct route in coming here instead of wasting time in Iraq, and doesn't it stand to reason that our resources would be better spent protecting our "homeland" than trying to solve the political promblems of a people (Iraqis) who don't seem to like us very much ?

Family's stability is very crucial for a person's security, but its adversely affected by extramarital relationships. I don't want to judge people, particularly women who as mistresses have contributed greatly to the erosion of the marital commitments to stay together and work out any differences and conflicts. With whom do we start, is it with the woman (mistresses) or the man (philandering husband)? and how?

I have a few offers on the table and the one that intrigues me the most is
I give:
Pual Pierce
Devon Harris

I get
Michelle Redd
Shaquile O'Neal (5 may be able to pry Jermain O'Neal instead)

here's my team, should I do this deal? Also, Im concern about Pierce since the big three is there, will his production go down? Also, Ive read Dallas wants to turn Harris into a star, ala Deron Williams type. Should I keep him off the blocks then?

PG Kirk Hinrich
SG Tracy McGrady
G Morris Peterson
SF Paul Pierce
PF Kevin Garnett
F Mike Miller --> just traded Miller for Kirelenko (good move?)
C LaMarcus Aldridge
C Chris Kaman
Util Stephon Marbury
Util Troy Murphy
BN Charlie Villanueva
BN Rafer Alston
BN Devin Harris

Reposted from a rather dead section...

To summarize she basically stated no one at her job would or wanted to talk to her and she wanted to know why they would be so rude. My answer, from personal xp, was if I find 1 person that doesnt like dealing with me I wonder whats wrong with them BUT if I find MANY people that dont want to deal with me I tend to look at myself and see if I have some type of issue that would cause this to happen. For this I got quite a few thumbs down. Not that I care really about the thumbs down but it did get me thinking... are people really so arrogant as to think they could not be the one with the problem? And to the other thumbs downers, are they really so full of pc bs that they would rather another give an inane but placating opinion just to avoid hurtful feelings?

How is anyone to mature and grow without ever getting any REAL feedback?

as an Englishman and owner of many major US based companies i feel i must ask this.
I like a good drink, but I have never been able to get drunk since I moved to the USA.The reason being is that in the USA alcohol/beer is illegal, the American government have allowed a "beer substitute" by the name of budweiser to be consumed. This "beer substitute" is fine for Americans, but i need something a little stronger.Last night I had 29 pints of "beer substitute" and it had no effect.

1 Sprawl-and-brawl
2 Clinch fighting
3 Ground-and-pound
4 Submission grappling
5 Lay-and-pray
6 Weapon fighting

Mr Smith has a 3kW. water heater containing 120kg. of water initially as 20°C, and a clock radio which consumes 5W. No other appliances are using any electricity. There is 41p. of credit remaining on his electricity meter.

The alarm is set to sound after 8 hours, but if the meter runs out sooner than that then Mr Smith will oversleep.

What is the hottest temperature that his thermostat could be set to without running the electricity meter out of credit?

Specific Heat Capacity of water = 4200 J kg-1 K-1.
Price of electricity = 8p/kWh.
Assume the water heater is thermally insulated, and neglect its own heat capacity.
