I think a lot of the metaphors and symbols would be replaced by many of the new words we've gotten from science, new languages, etc. Kind of like some of the newer Bibles but even more so. So maybe instead of saying gold all the time they'd have a few "bling blings" in there, lol.

We tear down old religions to put up new religions with ourself in a position of power. If may sicken you, but when the Bible was written very few people knew how to write, let alone read. So it was the the most intelligent and wisest people who wrote the Bible. If not for the Bible, many would have never learned to read and the world would be full of many more Yahoo's then there are today. If it makes you feel happy to live in denial, that's okay, but your just a slightly wiser sheep.

If it was written now there would be no difference to what is written but people will be saying that anyone can write anything after a fact. Bible has taught science many things and what has happened to those who laughed at the bible because it said the world is round but now it is common knowledge it is round

It would definitely be tainted with so many misleading and false information.
God chose the 40 men to write all 66 books of the Bible for a reason, but if it were, and there is no way that it could have been to serve God's purpose, be written in 2007, it would be full of lies, corruption, selfish attention to one's own perception and greedy goals; it would be critically, and fatally ideologically deriven.
Thank you God that you had the men you deemed correct and according to your purpose, Lord, write the Bible in the manner that you authorized them to. You, God, are the only author of the Bible.
Amen
