i was told it is a japanes flowering tree, it has white limbs and trunk ,large green leaves, and only after all the leaves fall off , the large white w/ pink flowers bloom. if its not a japanese flowering tree i still would like to know how do i prune it.

One evening, a family brings their frail, elderly mother to a nursing home and leaves her, hoping she will be well cared for. The next morning, the nurses bathe her, feed her a tasty breakfast, and set her in a chair at a window overlooking a lovely flower garden.

She seems okay but after a while she slowly starts to lean over sideways in her chair. Two attentive nurses immediately rush up to catch her and straighten her up.

Again, she seems okay but after a while she starts to tilt to the other side. The nurses rush back and once more bring her back upright. This goes on all morning.

Later, the family arrives to see how the old woman is adjusting to her new home. "So Ma, how is it here? Are they treating you all right?" they ask.

"It's pretty nice," she replies. "Except they won't let you fart!"

What in the world are they looking for ?? Isn't every dryer in the store..EMPTY! Its not like the crew is washing their clothes while on the job or anything...

I have been with my company for 2 yrs now as a marketing admin assistant/ graphic designer, and recently found out from a friend/co-workwer of mine (who is the same job title as me, but strictly admin, no graphics), that she is making about 10k more than me an was only hired 12 months ago.

I had previously asked my boss about 6 months ago for an increase in salary, that would fairly match my job skills and what I contribute to the company, and i got an increase. But at the time he said he gave me what he could afford and when i got the increase cheque it was an extra $25/month (talk about a slap in the face.)

I spoke with my boss recently an let him know that the salary gap was completely unfair, an that unless the company brings up my salary I will have to look elsewhere.

3 wks has gone by an things seem to be going nowhere, so I'm currently looking for another job, but if I am offered an increase should I ask for the mrkt rate for Graphic Designer salary+1 yr retro pay?

I have a long history of ovarian cysts, raging PMS, vaginal infections etc....as far as I am concerned that entire system has always been slighty off kilter.....
I'm 35 and its starting to get worse.....I'm tired of doctors pushing birth control [it makes me bleed all month] that doesnt actually do much of anything.....

Do all y'all have suggestions?
Is there a regime that you would suggest?
I take cherry extract for my joints and cranberry because I'm also prone to frequent UTI - just in case that tells you anything.

i heard a quick quote from the bible on the opening of a cooking show. something to the tune of you can eat all the fish you want but dont eat anything with a shell. does anyone know that specific verse? it was too quick for me to catch it. i love seafood but i will definatly give it some more thought if the bible says not to eat it, why does it say not to eat that?

S I'm an Army NG SGT and a combat vet. I want to go ROTC, but I'm on an anti depressant. Will that stop me?
I love the military, the fact that I am on this drug does nothing to stop me from being a good soldier. I getting treated for stress to be a more effective soldier. Combat stress apparently finally caught up with me, but it was worth it and I look forward to doing it again. I love being an NCO don't get me wrong, but I'd love to be an officer and actually make policy rather than just enforce it. Hopefully somebody can give me some advice.

If you believe something to be true, or maybe even know it, and you were not capable of being able to be persuaded that it was in fact NOT true. Would that suggest that you illogically hold on to its truth?

For Example

I know the world is a sphere. however, I could be convinced otherwise if there was enough evidence, such as i simply take a journey and see the edge. or maybe my believe can be shaken by seeing some photographs of the world being flat from a satellite and they are verified to be accurate by NASA.

Something along those lines.

I've heard that people in sales @ CH Robinson can make 6 figuress in 2-3 years. Is this normal or only the exception? Also, would you recomend working in sales or accounting? Which pays more, is more rewarding, focused on work/life balance, opportunities for growth, etc? Advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

He took zero medical history, only filled out form with name and address and insurance. No assistant took any medical history.

I was told I have eczema..I broke out in an extremely itchy rash on my calves after remodeling. He concurred it was probably an allergy (to the dust or possible mold stirred up) that went to eczema.

Natural treatments I tried did not help. I want to get rid of it as it is unsightly and itchy but I am worried about potential problems.

He ordered a steroid cream (betamethasone dip aug .05% cream) for 6 weeks. He said it would be a lot better in a week but if I discontinued it before 6 weeks, it may come back.

I have just been told I may have high blood pressure, I had a fasting blood sugar of 151 (but ai c was 5.9)..this means I am prediabetic they said, Also I have developed severe gout and have arthritis. I am also clinically depressed and long felt I had adrenal insufficiency due to high stress for 20 years and symptoms of this.

I am not new to acting, but I am new to huge auditions. This show that I am in, is more of a display of talent. For both modeling and acting, I have confidence, but not enough, especially if this show is coming up soon.

Hey,

I'm auditioning for Seussical the Musical and I was wondering what part you think would suit me best out of Gertrude, Mayzie La Bird and Mrs Mayor? Which character do you think is coolest to play?

I am female obviously, a teenager (our school is putting it on so age isnt an issue) and an alto. I can't sing very high but I can belt out some of the high-ish notes (as long as its not too high!) I can also dance and act reasonably well.

So Jericho tv show fans petitioned against cbs to bring jericho back. we won.
so it was supposed to air on friday nights
i have not seen it at all. I did see some but they were reruns from the ending of last season. Is it gone? Did they pull it behind our backs? I loved that show. Best tv drama series I've ever seen. What happened?
