I tried to look them up and am having no luck. They are not brown recluse spiders I am certain. We live in East Texas so they are probably common to this area. They are about the size of a pinky nail legs and body and the front legs are longer than the others. They have a bigger rounded back. If you may know what kind they are please help me.

I've heard many, many rumors that December 21, 2012, is the day the world ends.

Personally, I don't believe a word of it. I think that the Mayans just stopped predicting. It seems that the solstice would be a perfect place to stop, and an easy place to start again.

Besides, I have heard that the Age of Aquarius isn't going to reach its peak until 2654. The Age of Aquarius has been described as characterized by technical progress, and finally the dissolve of religion due to science.

Now, I'm not saying we'll make it until 2654.

I'm just saying we'll almost certainly make it past 2012, unless there's a nuclear war or something.

So, why WILL the world end as we know it in 2012?

My husband-to-be wants to put a note in our wedding invitations for April 2008 to the effect: "NO wedding gifts - not even money or shop vouchers please."
I feel as it (both) our second marriage(s) and we do not have a lot of money to spend on the wedding: any gift of any kind is welcome and the gift of money (or shop vouchers) is welcome, even just to offset the cost of the wedding.

Am I wrong to feel the gift of money or shop vouchers is welcome or should I go along with his idea of no gifts at all?

Our wedding, together with classic and modern Rock'n'Roll themed, bar-be-que reception will be at home.

We both have son's living with us: mine is 10yrs old and his is 20 and they will both be participating in the wedding, as groomsman and ring bearer.

Someone told me that there is a new policy about passports now when you're going to Mexico - that you don't have to have one after a certain date or something. Does any of this sound right?

I have a 1 year old siberian husky that won't eat. I'm looking for serious responses only. I have consulted a veterinarian and she has no solutions as to how to get him to eat. We've been having this problem since February of this year. In the past month, I have switched his food often to begin the search for a food that he will eat, but in the past while we had this problem I did not switch his food. I have tried mixing gravies in with the kibble, mixing soft food in with the kibble and he refuses to eat any of it. I have tried a raw diet, he absolutely loved it for 4 days and then just stopped eating. He does eat canned food, but I do not give it to him regularly as he will just eat it for 4 days and decide he's done with it. I'm at a loss for getting him to eat. I do not give him table scraps, his food and only his food. He searches high and low for anything to eat but his food and never finds anything. Finally after a couple of days he will eat some kibble, but not much.

What constitutes a good man? Well, word is that they are usually respectful, don’t push to hard, and also probably didn’t exist back in the prehistoric days where you’d club a woman over the head. After further review, it seems as though nice guys also have a lot of patience. This is usually where things start to get shady for the nice guy. The “Have your cake and eat it too!” factor comes into play. The woman knowingly tramples over Mr. Nice Guy like Simba’s Dad in a wilder beast stampede! Sad. However, the biggest difference between that lion and Mr. Nice Guy is that the nice guy always gets back up, brushes himself off, and tries again, Dedication. You have to admire that in a funny way though. Does the nice guy know when enough is enough? On the other hand, the “Bad Guy” that we all know as “Thugs” usually don’t care what his woman thinks; actually he does the exact opposite of what his female asks of him.

Back in 1994, an artist by the name of Rachel Whiteread filled the last, undemolished house in a street in Tower Hamlets with concrete and then removed the house itself, leaving only the insides.

It won her the Turner Prize and was a haunting piece of artwork. It seemed to be the 'soul' of an old house and people came from all over the world to see it.

On 11 January 1995, it was demolished by the local council. Had they left it, thousands of tourists would have flocked to the area each year just to look at it, bringing much-needed money to the local area and putting Tower Hamlets on the map for the RIGHT reasons.

Today, another total a**e of a councillor has demanded that a mural by the world-famous grafitti artist Banksy, be destroyed. Why? Because, in the opinion of this lame-brain councillor, 'all grafitti is wrong.'

Banksy's work has fetched £200,000 an item. But, once again, Tower Hamlets council 'knows best.'

I think they're wrong yet again - what do you think?

Right, ive been going out with this guy for almost a year and 1/2, but the thing is, its an internet relationship. We live so far apart that we never get to see each other. We didnt rush into things, but i really think i love him. Like anyone else we've had up and downs.....but now im starting to believe its not going to work.....is it a good idea to stay with him, and to wait for him, or to dump him and get on with my life? I might sound mean but i really dont know wht to do....
