Milk does not make you grow. However, the calcium in milk helps build up your bones and make them stronger. Everyone should drink milk or eat at least 3 servings of dairy products in order to get the calcium and vitamin D they need. Also, potassium is required for calcium to be absorbed into the body, so try eating a banana or something once a day as well for maximum absorption. Just because it does not promote growth it is important. If you do not drink enough milk your bones will become fragile and will break easily, and you could get osteoporosis later in life. Drink you milk!

It helps your bones grow. Makes them stronger.This is cause it contains calcium, which the bones need a lot.
You need to drink milk a lot to grow, like for years and years.
Milk alone ain't gonna help you grow. Eat proper food.

milk does not directly cause an increase in growth of the human skeletal system. some of the nutrients in milk will "help" the human skeletal to reach it's natural genetic potential during puberty.
ingesting milk in excess will have no effect on causing the skeletal system to grow beyond what is programmed in your DNA.

It doesn't. It's all a con by the dairy industry. You can get sufficient calcium from vegetables/other sources without the fat that comes with milk.

Your growth is part of your inherited genetics. Milk is for baby cows. Drink soy milk instead.
