I see a lot of cute boys who are with slutty girls or nerdy girls... but they don't give me a chance... When I go out, they always stare at me up and down, some have the courage to compliment me saying I look pretty/beautiful, but they would quickly leave after... and would do some other weird things... There's no boys who approach me... at all... I wear fancy clothes, jeans and heels. I'm really nice and I don't get mean at people even if the person's not my type, I wouldn't embarrass them like a lot of girls do. But they never give me a chance... I live in NYC and I'm 18... What can I do? Where can I go?

I'm a single woman who attend church faithly. I find myself wanting to be with this man. He does;t know this, I'm at the point that I'm wanting to let him know and relocating to a new church. This man is married, but this past Sunday I found myself crying while the pastor was preaching. At the end of the service I found him just standing in the back of the church staring at me. Early that morning he spoke to me I said hi, but I could not look at him. So I want to tell him how I feel. Can someone answer this question for me? Understanding what I feel. I want him to know it's not him, But it's something I'm going through. Serious people PLEASE.

I've just been presented with three all at once......and I already have a job (that I hate).....

Isn't it funny how, when you're UNemployed and desperate for a job, ANY job, it's hard to get your foot in the door........but when you already have a job, the offers come flooding in....lol

I wanna know why ppl who do not smoke pot judge those who do smoke pot so harshly
i smoke and i dont care what anyone has to say about me i have a good job and im not an idiot. i just dont understand how you can talk bad about it if youve never experienced it
i know that some will say its a gateway drug but i attribute that to being a weak minded person
i dont do any hardcore drugs like bars,coke,heroin,meth
personally i think alcohol is worse then pot and alcohol is legal
the only bad thing about pot IS that its illegal and smoke hurts ur lungs
i know but so does cigs
so why plz i dont want to hear all ur offensive remarks just explain
sorry if i offended anyone(but i dont see how)

i heard it the other day in starbucks...lol

the only lyrics that i remember were the following:

"if you really care....tell me, if you really really care, then tell me this is not what you waaaaant.."

and the later part of the song is very dramatic, as the singer goes, "and i try....and i try....and i tryyyyyy"

I want to say that the singer is alexander o'neal but i can't be certain...and the track sounded like it could have been produced by quincy jones...please help me!!!

it was definitely produced in the 80s or early 90s...and there was only one man singing...

My family is moving soon. We were accepted with the credit and are moving November 13th. We only had a $1000 furniture allowance so I am with my old furniture. The room is 11.5 by 12'8" the closet protrudes which is fine and there is only one window. The wall with the window is opposite of closet and door. The wall also has a rust textured wall. It is like marble except rust colored. I was thinking of a natural feel. My furniture is a love seat and a couch at the moment. They are medium dark brown and are staying. I would like to build a coffee table and either buy or build a end table. The coffee table I was thinking would be clean lines very simple legs, only about 1.5 to 2 foot tall and 3 foot long 2 foot wide. I would have a glass top on it and instead of a flat top make a sort of box look with the glass as the top. Place pebbles me and my family collected in the mountains from a stream (roughly 1000 pebbles about quarter size) I am in photography so I would take photos of nature.

I want to trade my Honda Civic in for a new (used) car. I didn't know if it would be better to trade it in at a honda dealer... like would I get more for it there or less since it's a honda ya no?? Also the same with buying a new car.. is it better to buy a honda from a honda dealer or do you get a better deal if the car is a different make then the dealer???

Also, I'm so confused about how the out of state tax issue works. If you buy a car out of state you have to pay the taxes when you get your tag?? is that right?? well how much tax are we talking?? alot or just average??

Hi. I am married, 3 kids, and lost a son a few months ago. I have a psychotic sister-in-law who follows me around online i made the mistake a few months ago and told her where i used to post and she read my posts and rang up and shouted at me. they were about how upset i was when i lost the baby and how sad i feel when i see other pregnant relatives, she said i had no right to feel this way and needed anti-depressants. i told her to go jump and my hubby (her brother) was with me. She had a go at my kids (unprovoked) swore at me and said she's hated me for 5 years. Now I want nothing to do with her but hubby wants me to befriend her (i tried once already and got sworn at) so i decided no, i don't want to know her as she is a psycho. hubby's upset and I got blamed. she used my dead baby to get at me, hates me & the kids i want nothing to do with her. she is nasty, i hate being in the same room as her she is opinionated, rude and won't listen to anyone how else should deal with her

Mom died 9/15/07. I know she is in a better place now. It was somewhat of a relief when she passed, she was suffering so much. Now life is kicking in again. Dad passed in 96. I have 3 brothers but I feel so alone. Like there is no security in my life, you know how mom's can make anything ok. I know I'm an adult but I'm a real mess right now. Everything is a struggle to me, I already have depression and this obviously adds to it. How do I cope with this? Dad's been gone for a while and I don't remember how I got through it. All I know is my brothers and me still had mom after that and it made it easier. My mom suffered, was on hospice care (we took care of her, she wanted it that way). I'm devastated by it and trying to deal. Ideas??? Comments???
