100 billion dollars what about the waste? I would rather spend our tax dollars on anything that would improve the standard of living for Americans even if it's buried in the pork,Than to give president Bush more war funding. for all of you who thinks this war is necessary and continue talk about liberals as if this is a pissing contest shame on you it isn't about liberals or Conservatives it is about America an what we should be standing for as a leader of the World we don't take care of our own it that is the shame of it all.

It is funny listening to all the Republicans squirm. Why do Republicans think that occupying a non-threatening country so that Cheney can syphon off our tax dollars to Haliburton is patriotic, but trying to keep the deficit under control so that America stays safe and secure is treasonous? How come Republicans do not know the meanings of common English words?

The same amount that it did When we had to pay the last Republican's run-away spending.

It would be nice, if politics was so simple only congress spent money, but it isn't.
example:
President sends troops into somewhere they shouldn't be. those troops need supplies. Would you be the congressman that voted against sending the supplies, praying that the President will pull them out, and not play politics with their lives??

Once again, I firmly believe in eliminating all income taxes both fed and state. And furthermore the spending of the congress should have far more closely monitored.

Assuring the safety and security of the American people while trying to bring a semblance of stability to the Middle East is not squandering our money.
On the other hand, initiating non-binding resolutions and attaching pork bills to the troop funding, now that's squandering our money, ya think?

Its gonna get squandered no matter what we say. So if we are gonna put it somewhere, lets keep on supplying our guys in the Military. Not build useless pork initiatives with it.
