We are buying a single family house. I thought that buying a house mean you also own the yard or lot that the house is on. One of my friend asked me if I own only the house or the house and the lot? sorry if I confuses you..but is it possible to own just the house and not the lot?

I just got a bill from collection agency stating that I owe $ 109 to Verizon. That bill is from sept. 2000. I know that statue of limitations in NY state is 6 years. i decided to despute that bill. What should be my next step? my credit report doesn't show any bad accounts. they threating to put that on my credit report. is tat even legal after 7 years?

Up your *** after you told him you have been peeing a lot lately? I went to my doctor yesterday and he told me to get undressed then preceded to stick one of is fingers up my ***. I asked him why i needed a finger up my *** to find out about my urinating and he said it could be linked to problems with my prostate. Is this true? I just adopted a kitten from the pound and there was no age given other than= kitten. I want to do a flea treatment on him, but it says ONLY FOR CATS OVER 12 WEEKS OLD- He doesn't still eat from his mom obviously, and some cats 12 weeks do, should i just assume he's old enough for this flea treatment?

-I got discharged a few years back for a medical condition. In the civilian world I got the condition medically treated, doing exactly what the military doctors advised me to do requalify to reenter.
-However I got caught in a beaurocratic snafu where because of two regs written decades apart, which essentially tie the doctors hands up as far as letting me in.
-It's been made clear to me by both my civilian AND the military entrance doctors their is no good physical reason I can't reenlist (or commision at this point) in the US military. It's just a case where Form A says I have to be status X to get in, Form B says if I'm status X I can't get in. And the two forms only both apply because of a poorly written paperwork catch-22, they were blatantly obviously not written to be taken together, but due to a quirk they have to be.
-A recruiters I talked to and a doctor both said the same thing... contact your Congressman and see what he can do.
-Anyone try this? Does it actually work?

I have heard that there are pockets of material following the earth in its orbit at 120 degrees and 240 degrees, and following Jupiter in its orbit at even intervals unaffected by resonant gravitational pulls of neighboring satillites. What is known of these areas of space? How much material is there? Wouldn't it be fairly economical to send an unmanned probe there?

I'm not very experienced with whole dating thing and this is the first guy to actually call me, so I'm not sure what to do...
I met the guy at a party a couple weeks ago and saw him again last friday. We were talking and getting along pretty well so he asked for my number, I gave it to him and he called me last night(monday) We talked for about an hour and at the end of the conversation he said to call him sometime. so, when exactly should I call? Or should I wait and see if he calls me again? I know he kinda likes me but I'm afraid I'll mess it up or something since I've never done this before. I guess there was some two day rule for him to call me(according to my friend, I had no idea), which I guess he followed. So I don't wanna do something stupid since I don't know what these rules are. haha oh, and I know I'm going to see him at a party again this friday if it makes a difference....

I am still not fine with the chatting. I caught him creating a profile and emailing random girls. It still says in his profile in a relationship. He said that he wants to chat with girls just for fun. He never plans to meet up with these girls. He just wants one on one action. I offered him that I would let him go because I think he wants to be single. But he said that he wants to spend the rest of his life with me. He asked to give him time to get the internet chatting out of his system. His tactic is to gain the trust of other girls and make "friends" with them... and then that's when he would talk sex with them. But that's all. He gave me all his accounts and passwords. He is open about it and gave me permission to look at what they talk about. What should I do? Is there such a guy who are really like that? I am not sure if he is telling the truth about him just want to have fun with other girls. I am stupid to hold on?

My Wife is 34 weeks and is in Long Island US on a visit visa holding a indian passport , since she is 34weeks she cannot fly back and needs to deliver in US , She does not have insurance niether a lot of cash what i can manage is to send her approx usd 2500 thats the max we can afford , can a safe delivery be done at this cost without insurance , as she cannot come back to India , what would the approx cost be as none of the hospitals give u an estimate over the phone as she cannot go out a lot hunting. are clinics safe to deliver in and how much would they charge , is there any kind of medical aid provided to tourist in the US on visit visas ??

Ohms and speakers, I have a receiver that lets me choose whether I have 4, 6 or 8ohm speakers. My speakers are rated 4-8 ohms. This is a 5.1 surround. What would be best and why? What difference does it make when setting my receiver to different ohms ratings?
