I know its a weird question but I honestly don't know how to reply to this. Its not like "How are you?" which is easy to answer. Please help.

Honestly, sometimes I don't know what to answer either. But I usually say what's up back. Or you could say nothing much, but that sounds kind of corny. You could try to be funny by looking up at the ceiling when they ask you that, or if you're depressed you could say that everything is down.

Well usually I just give the vague answer "not much." It really isn't asking how you are. Just whats up, and not much. Man! You are making me think about it too hard!
But to be safe. Say, "not much" or "nothing."
Also, when I say what's up, I usually know what they are about to say which is not much. The question is really just an easy conversation starter.

They are simply asking you how are you, it doesn't matter how it is phrased you know what they mean, so just say how you are feeling, I am well thank you, I am feeling up to par, I feel sad, I feel like a moron. whatever it is the same response you give when asked how are you, you don't have to respond with a slang. Half the time people ask you "whats up? or How are you and they don't care? Who really cares how someone is doing when they ask such question?

My answers vary from "the sky" to "Nothing, you?" You know the person is really just saying "Hi, how are you", so just answer it as you would if that's what they actually said. Don't let other people define how you choose to speak.

I would usually say "my hair!" lol!

I usually say "not much" unless I'm feeling like a smart alek and then I'll say "the sky, the price of gas, etc"

honestly speaking.... I say the sky or the birds.... you get the drift. It is a logical answer to a logical quesiton
