i am a singaporean. i want to resign soon but due to this accident which happened, i delayed fearing the company will ask me pay the excess. pls advise.

If you were using it for personal use, then it depends on company policy. Some companies allow you to use the vehicle for personal use, others have strict policies against personal use.

If you were using it for company business when you got into the accident, it's the reason the company has insurance and you shouldn't have to worry nor should you have to pay anything. It's the company's responsibility to insure their property (and fix it) when employees are using it for business purposes.
