I am wondering if there is a predilection of Female fiction writers to feminize the strong, male characters in their books.

Rowling announced that she wrote her strongest grown-up male character as a gay man with a secret past.

Does this suggest a tendency to deny that strong heroic men can exist? By adding a gay subtext, is she admitting to a belief that straight men are dangerous or harmful?

Whether or not you agree with this concept...

Do you think that there are other examples of women writers seeking to feminize their strongest male characters? If so, who are they?

I was recently involved in an auto accident in which my vehicle was hit in the rear by the front of another vehicle causing damage so severe that to repair it would cost more than the blue book value of the car.Now,my car is totaled,and the other driver's insurance is only accepting 50% of the liability when clearly they are responsible for the whole 100%,and I don't understand why.

You guys watchin the Wings/Coyotes game? Homer (Holmstrom) just got called for goalie interference and it cost zetterberg a goal and homer wasnt in the crease nor did he touch the goalie, but they called it goalie interference? When I WAS a catholic I was told if you kill or murder someone you will be cut off from God eternally. Is this true? I can cite a lot of scripture saying it is not. For instance Moses killed a guard before he led the people out of Egypt. God ordered Joseph to kill all the people staying in Israel. Are you truly cut off? Please back up with evidence. By the way I am set out to prove what the catholic doctrine is teaching is false teaching. Not because I hate catholics but because just maybe someone might be saved in hearing it. I ask you another two questions. If you die tonight would you go to heaven, if so.....why? Please do not answer that it is up to God because it isn't if you truly read the bible you would know the right answer. In love with Christ! I do not have a religion but a relationship. Unfortunately I got my license suspened for DUI in Santa Cruz and I was under 21 so they suspended it for a year. However I have no choice but to drive to college. I would like to know if in the event that I get arrested for driving without a license would that year be extended even further in addition for impounding my car and giving me a $1,000 fine and some days in jail? I hate cops and if I didn't have to drive I swear I would't just to not see them around plus I think that its extremely unfair to be treated like a criminal for doing something I have to do. I requested a hardship license from the DMV but they were nice enough to reject it.
