Why did My Wife and Kids get offf air?

My kids used to love watching that show after school. Now it has been replaced by this show called, "Destination New Zealand". Why would kids want to watch that?

"My Wife and Kids" was cancelled by ABC a couple of years ago. Either the local broadcaster who licensed the show is giving it a rest for a while,moved it to a different time slot or the rights may have expired.

It'll be helpful if you said which channel it was on.
