Wakefield so that the Indians can knock him out of the game before the 4th inning.

Wakefield. Lester doesn't have the postseason experience Wake does. Beckett needs the rest and Dice-K is shaky, though he is due for a good game. Use Beckett in the pen if we get desperate, but don't start him.

Definitly not Beckett. If he did start Beckett it would be a mistake. Well anyways, I'd go with Wakefield. I would pitch him until the first sign of trouble and then switch to Lester. Wakefield has plenty of big game experience like Schilling too and shouldn't get as nervous as Dice-K. Daisuke is inconsistant and it is too big of game to risk him having a bad game because there is no tomorrow if they lose.

Well, its already been determined that Dice K is pitching game 7...I would play Beckett...*L*...Seriously, I think they should have had Lester and maybe Tavarez in the starting rotation for the playoffs instead of Dice K and Wakefield...They're too inconsistent...

Dice K start and then Wakefield or Beckett

He already said he would start Dice-K but he will have a short leash with Wake and Lester both ready to go and even Beckett could pitch a couple innings...hopefully Dice-K is sharp early and the Sox can put up some early runs like tonight...that is what I actually think will happen.

To the guy who said Julian Tavarez...he isn't even on the ALCS roster so that isn't even an option.

Wakefield's got the experience that Lester and Dice-K lack. He would be my choice assuming he looks good in practice. Go to Beckett as a reliever if the game calls for it, but definitely don't start him.

Start with Dice-K, but have Wakefield ready. Both pitchers are very different, so if the Tribe is seeing Dice well, Wakefield will bring a whole different look that may put an end to it.

Dice-K.

If it looks like he is going to be pounded, yank him and switch to Lester or Wakefield. Use Beckett, only if it is absolutely necessary, for no more than 1 inning.

From what I hear it will be Dice-K...But, I'm so happy to hear that Wake, Lester and Beckett will be available. Cheers to Red Sox Nation... All the way!!

It's understandable to go with the rotation, but Matsuzaka has been terrible lately. Can't use any of the recent pitchers, I'd say Wake, but he needs to be careful and watch him closely. Keep a long reliever like Lester handy because when Wake falls apart, he really falls apart. And that can happen very early on, so it's good to have a guy like Lester, who's really a starter, there to back him up if needed.
