Radio shack has a converter box that changes amplified output to RCA line levels. Like $30

You have two options:

Many amplifiers are equipped with "high-level inputs". These allow you to connect directly to the factory speaker wires, with no need for RCA cables at all.

If your amp doesn't have high level inputs, then you can purchase a device called a line-out converter. This connects to the vehicle speaker wiring and provides output jacks for RCA cables.
